Mister Speaker, please acknowledge the irony of the MP wanting to restore order, while at the same time, sending a message that this government will be weak on fighting crime.Sao Nova Europa wrote:"Mister Speaker, please restore some decency and order in the chamber."

Secondly, the bill only affects young, first time offenders convicted of lite offenses only. Thirdly, the bill aims to ensure that once they are released from prison - after fully serving their sentence - they will not relapse to their old ways, but rather shall have the necessary skills to find a job and become law-abiding, productive members of society. Instead of turning them into hardened criminals, we can turn them into lawful citizens paying back society by contributing as lawful workers. Your populist sloganeering has no relation to reality."

Mr. Speaker, I obviously cannot speak for my Honorable colleague who sponsored and introduced this legislation to the floor, but I imagine that I can speak for most on the Government benches, and perhaps even a healthy number among the Opposition, that we have no intention to table this bill to sate her hot headed attitude and stunts. We are here to govern, Mr. Speaker, not be dictated to by one Member of Parliament who overestimates her clout both among the esteemed Opposition benches and within the wider House."

I think I speak for most members of this chamber when I urge this chamber to drop the hyperbolic language and unparliamentary aspersions and focus on passing this bill so we can move on to the business of strengthening Banduria’s economy.”

What they are proposing is paying with school, slapping them on the wrist, and sending them back out to go commit another crime. Heck, you commit another crime they might start paying for the Doctorates! Paid for by sticking up innocent women in the parks. Ludicrous is paying the criminal for committing a crime, instead of recompensating the victim handsomely for our failure to maintain law and order.
Mister Speaker, point of order, "hello speaker" is a wholly innapropiate way of addressing you.
