I've noticed, in rereading the RP, that Twelve has a tendency to get more physical with his enemies than his predecessors.

Completely unintentional, but it fits.

He's not one to settle conflicts with fighting, but intimidation is a key factor in how he handles his foes and boasts don't work as often as they used to.

I've decided that this RP is definite proof that we know the Doctor well enough that we no longer need a companion-y companion.

After Clara (which is not to say I want her to leave any time soon), they should have a companion who is as interesting as the Doctor in their own right.

I think we all know Winston quite well by now - I mean, a Romana-type. Maybe the Paternosters, or perhaps just Vastra? That might be cool.

I mean, look at Khan. A (somewhat) normal guy that we all know and tolerate, but not a point-of-view character for anyone but Khan himself.

Yes, but the Doctor, on the surface, is an easy enough guy to "get".

You, of course, need someone completely ignorant of his character to explore it, but they've made that type of character work before. Leela and Romana weren't normal people at all.

I'm rewatching the entire second half.

Skipped the last quarter of Hide due to sleepiness, the same reason I'm now only a quarter through Journey. Hide is still great and Journey is still a bad episode with a good premise.
