Why are we even discussing this? I'm pretty sure the OP won't allow Arendelle to be in this RP under any circumstances, so this argument is kinda irrelevant.

Full Nation Name:
Short Nation Name:
National Flag:
Territory: https://darlynnrosh.files.wordpress.com ... ap_eng.gif
Official Language(s): Korean
Form of Government: Monarchy
Head of State: King Sunjo
Head of Government: Same
Capital City: Hanseong
Population: 25,000,000 (19,600,000 in 1753)
Religion: Buddhism and Confucianism compete against each other in the Joseon Dynasty, Buddhism has the upper hand.
Army: The Joseon Army is about 130,000 men strong and is well equipped. It has some of the most advanced weapons in East Asia, such as the Hwacha and has strong artillery with a decent cavalry. The Joseon foot soldiers are mediocre while the archers are superb. Korean military tactics are usually centered around infantry and cavalry holding the line while the artillery and archers mow the enemy forces down in hails of arrows and cannonballs. The Joseon army can also find itself backed by a large army of peasants who always rise up in the defense of Korea (As seen in the Tang-Silla War (670-676), the Mongol Invasions (1231-1257) (Interesting note, the Koreans were one of two groups to get a mongol general killed, the other being the Malmuks), and the Japanese Invasion of Korea (1592-1598). Resistance groups of peasants number anywhere from a few hundred to 5,000 to in the worse case scenario 600,000. Though usually they are poorly equipped with bamboo sticks or at good times with pitchforks and a few matchlocks. Their greatest strength is in ferocity, with many fighting until the bitter end because apparently "surrendering" and "retreat" isn't a korean word for semi-medieval/proto-modern Koreans.
Navy: While its navy isn't the largest in East Asia, it is certainly the most advanced in East Asia, if one of the most advanced the world. It has the Turtle Ship, which is a ramming ship covered with metal spikes on top to prevent boarding and is a fast and maneuverable ship. It has maintained about 10 Turtle Ships in good use and 15 Panokseon while they also have 20 regular junks (the junks are worse than Chinese junks).
Economic Strength: Joseon relies heavily on China for trade, meaning that no trade with China could heavily damage Joseon. Despite this Joseon trades many goods with China and some goods reach as far as Persia.
Infrastructure: As of now Joseon's infrastructure is decent, it mainly paves roads and keeps them in good order for trade and for potential military maneuvers.
Primary Goals: Modernize itself in image of the Westerners, conquer Japan, maintain good relations with Qing China.
History: Joseon's history is in mirror with modern history until 1817, when Joseon ships encountered French ships. The Joseon leaders were amazed by these ingenious weapons of the French merchants showed them and quickly started to purchase large amounts of foreign goods and sought to bring more foreigners over.

Political and religious views don't define whether you are a good or bad person, unless you want to actively hurt everyone who doesn't believe what you say.

Preferably not. The applications have to make sense within the time setting of the RP. The historical deviation from RL starts in 1814 only, so unless Rudaslavia is a nation that has some real-life basis and has seceded from some RL country, I don't think I can allow it.

As far as I know (on this subject, not that much) "Arendelle" is the English rendering of a fictional kingdom from a Norwegian folktale, from which the movie is derived. I think.

Therefore Arendelle is not Norway in any way shape, or form. The two are only related through a Norwegian children's story. This is an alt-history RP in the real world.

On a probably unnecessary side note, URSS I saw your Frozen thread awhile back and you really need to find a new obsession, dude.
