Not necessarily. Necromancy, at least the type you are working with right now, is more divorced from nature than the Dao, certainly in terms of the non-living world.

Dao is fully internal, though - it shouldn't affect the land, only the people practicing it - at least until they learn to use/abuse external Qi.
