APPEARANCE: “Overall I guess you could say I’m kinds still dressing like it’s still war time and I’m gonna have some officer kicked down my door and beat the crap out of me if I don’t keep my self and uniform up to code. Guys are always surprised all this sun doesn’t give me a tan but somehow I’m still some paleish looking guy who looks fresh out of boot camp…Always funny telling them I’ve been doing this for a while now. Still I stick to protocol no beards, keep my hair supposed dumb looking brown hair short as always and all that.”
NATIONALITY: Alestrian
PERSONALITY: “Well I guess you could say I’m a bit of a quiet one I guess…amongst all the louder and rougher of some of our lot it’s almost weird when you get someone actually calm. Tell you what through the guys sure do seem to love how I’m apparently some sort of smart ass, might be why they sure seem to actually like the medic who always got the shit in the past….That and I’m one of the few actually able to patch up their wounds and all that.”
SKILLS:
Major: Medical Training “Well it’s a given but skills in medical training is one for me”
Quiet Sneaker “Given my profession I had to sneak my way around the field a lot just making sure I wasn’t killed so yeah I know a thing or two about sneaking around”
Minor: Known Barterer: “Eh I guess I’m alright when it comes to striking a deal…Might be because you won’t believe how many of my supplies others keep trying to buy off me for literal scraps like I’m so moron”
Quick feet: “Again with my line of work it’s kinda needed to be able to channel your inner sportsman and dash across a battle field and all that carnage and flying bullets to save someone out there.”
WARTIME BACKGROUND: “Well when the war first kicked off I was more focused on my studies at university, well that was the plan. Then a couple weeks in I ended up joining the army after I got promised a whole term of paid for scholarships if I signed up. Because of my medical background and all that i easily got a place into training as a field medic. After basic I got sent off to the 4th infantry division before eventually being shipped over to the 5th armoured just in time for shit to hit the fan.”
GEAR:“As a medic I think you can guess what I carry around with me. That’s right a medical kit around my shoulder at all times. Even in all this shit a medics work is never done just because shootings massively took a dive. This little numbers got all I need to keep some poor bastard alive. Bandages, scissors, some nice tweasers when I need to get the odd bullet out your body. And of course what few bottles of morphine I can get my hands on even if the guys keep trying to swipe them off me for their own enjoyment…”
- WEAPONS: “When I was a medic we weren’t exactly expected to carry much other then your standard issue pistol but obviously the whole bombs dropping and bandits and creatures out of your nightmares make that a little different but I’ll still carry my issue given pistol, I’ll leave the shooting to the guys trainee to do that and have my own little back up in the worst case.”
- CLOTHING: “Even after all this time I’m still in uniform, where some of my more less likeminded squad mates and new found comrades choose stuff that they find more comfortable or more frightening, I stuck with my army uniform with almost no changes since the bombs dropped on this god forsaken isle. The one good thing about keeping my giant target of a Chalice on my helmet is that there’s hardly anyone around who wants to shoot my damn head off. Still despite what some of the guys keep on saying I ain’t ditching my colours for style or whatever they call it…Helps keep me sane I guess.”
- IMPORTANT ITEMS:
BIOGRAPHY: “Oh someone actually wants to hear my life story? Well I guess the first place to start things off is my childhood and all the usual stuff you hear in biographies. So I was born in a small little village all the way out in the north of the country and let me tell you it was hardly the best childhoods. My old man was a complete drunken failure who always liked to beat the crap out of me and mom when she was actually around. Now she was hardly a saint herself but he was way worse. And I don’t wanna be one of those guys who act like he was the only one who lived like that I mean…I knew guys with any worser parents…somehow. And we lived quite alright too we weren’t like…living in some mud hut on some street of ill repute but still…hardly the best childhood.
Now to spare you all the grizzly details eventually after 18 years of pure hell at home I was able to get my parents to actually do a good thing for once and get some money together to get me into an actual good university. See I had always grown fascinated by medical studies and doctors and all that crap. And let me tell you university is not like what some guys talk about it’s all these stupid partied and you got these dunderheads who you just have to wonder got in but that’s besides the point.
But anyway first couple years things go by without much event but then of course I think you know what comes next…The war kicks off. See I first tried to get myself out of it by thinking maybe my medical training in uni would make me an essential citizen or something and keep my off the front but…next thing I know I get the letter come through my dorm door and I’m off to basic.
Luckily I knew a decent amount thanks to my medical studies so I was able to get myself trained up as a field medic, figured it’s the best place for my skills and the least likely possible way of not getting killed in the process. Couple months later I’m off to take part in the infamous meet grinder we all know and hate out here. And let me tell you I was a busy little bee for months on end. Day after day I’m patching up some poor bastard who got his leg blown off by a mine, or patching up some officer who got too much action for him to handle. Wasn’t always the most social of the unit but hey…I did my job and the guys respected me for it.
So you know the story, war goes on and on for months, stalemate and all that…Then of course we get to when the higher ups decided to get their fingers on the button and kickstarted this nightmare we find ourselves in. So when all this kicked off I was with the 5th armoured at the time and we had just pushed off from the siege out in Tivola when we got word about all this Wendigo talk but we thought the eggheads invented some crazy toxin that made them kill each other. Wasn’t until we moved up north that we came across the freaks and next thing you know I’m patching up bite wounded and barely fighting three off with my pistol.
So the month goes by and I between the Wendigo and the enemy the division was down to a few thousand men and a few dozen tanks…then when the nukes dropped and the ceasefire took place we tried to get the hell out of dodge but we missed the cut of point. So for a few months what’s left of us kinda just wandered, slowly but surely going from a clean unit to…well…nothing better than bandits. It became pretty clear things were going bad for us and…the things the 5th did…I couldn’t handle it anymore so one night I just…bolted. That’s why I keep things so clean and make myself as tidy as possible…kinda my little way of knowing if I ever…start turning to the bad side I guess.
Anyway…I spent some time on the road, keeping to myself and I really thought I was gonna die out there in the wild, or just go mad from it all but…I luckily found myself a place I could actually call home I guess and in some funny bit of irony it was Tivola of all places. And well…here I am, you guys wanted to hear my life story and there you go….So…Is this done and I can go now or what?”
Finally got my app done after all this time
