Hmm. Formally, the Bolivarian Union must support the historical territorial integrity of the Republic of India - the Parliament of Nations has expressed concurrence with the standpoint that Indian lands seized by Pakistan during the internal conflict must be returned to Naxalite administration. However we urge the Pakistani and Indian governments to address this with diplomacy instead of force, while reminding Pakistan that the Republic of Indian is in a military alliance with the Bolivarian Union.

The East PF suggests that Israel organizes a peace conference to find a peaceful compromise to the Pakistani-Indian possible border conflict, as a war would only bring more destruction and death to Asia. 15 Billions will be provided to Israel to help with negociations and referendum funding if necessary. The Federation also gives 60 days to the Bolivar military ships to leave territorial waters near Mexico, or else there will be no peacekeeping or military forces leaving the independentist states in the next months.

No Bolivarian ships are in the territorial waters of any relevant state in North America, to be clear. I assume you won’t be removing your forces by the deadline?

Israeli leadership is plenty willing to host such a conference. Given the political tensions present in the region, it shall host this conference in New Jerusalem. Once the appropriate delegates, delegation teams, and/or leaders arrive from each active party--i.e., the E.P.F., B.U., India, and Pakistan--each shall be granted time to put forth a statement, whether to clarify past events and/or provide input on future solutions.

The Union can certainly send a team, though really we’re largely willing to defer to the Republic of India regarding statements. From where we sit, the Indian desire to restore their territorial integrity is reasonable.

I don’t believe there are any referenda of note - but the territories were conquered from under the Republic of India during her civil war, so it makes sense they should be returned to their original administration.

Hmm. I’m not sure officially making the transfer of specific ethnic and religious groups from conquered territories easier is usually on the list of “good reasons to condone conquest”… given that’s basically genocide with a small G…

June, 2045

Following the gracious extension of the deadline for the withdrawal of Pacific Federation troops from the United Mexican States, which expired May 31st, President Daniel Ramirez has made the following announcement to the public of Mexico and the world.

"We are invaded. This morning I instructed the brave soldiers of the National Defense Army to enact a state of siege against the occupying forces of the Pacific Federation, after extensive consultations and intense diplomatic efforts to effect the removal of these forces from our land. Mexico will be whole once more. Every citizen must aid our men and women in uniform in the prosecution of this aim - not a grain of rice should be given to the enemy, not a bottle of water, not a liter of gasoline. The invader, finding himself profoundly unwelcome in our land, will then soon be forced to return north to the borders of his own country. Libertad a Mexico!"

By all appearances this campaign has been speedily carried out, no doubt with prior planning. Satellite coverage over the geographical area of Mexico, as well as the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Coast of country, has gone offline. Mexican Army blockades have been erected along major roads servicing the majority of the military bases currently occupied by the soldiers of the Pacific Federation, power lines have been cut, and water mains disabled. Even cell phone towers have been disabled. The occupying forces of the Pacific Federation woke up this morning to no water in their taps, no lights in their barracks, and no communications from their headquarters or loved ones.

Shortly after dawn leaflets were scattered from low flying civilian prop planes over several of the bases, with the following message inscribed in English, Spanish, and French.

"Soldiers of the Pacific Federation! Your leaders would have you become butchers, invaders. But this is not your land, and you are not wanted here. Go home to your families, wives, fathers and mothers. Any man who lays down his arms and approaches a soldier of the Mexican Army will be repatriated north with all due speed, and given ample food and water as well as medical treatment. Do not become one of the uncounted statistics of your leaders' aggression, like the hundreds of thousands of young men left to rot in the jungles of Myanmar for the ambition of bloodthirsty men. Go home. Be free."

The Bolivarian Union, speaking in solidarity with the United Mexican States, has noted her support of the campaign of siege as a 'legitimate and wise action of non-aggression designed to bring about the withdrawal of an illegal occupation'. Pundits in Central America believe airmobile and armored battalions have been crossing into the United Mexican States from the Bolivarian Union along the border, but the precise numbers and nature of such deployments are unclear amidst a media blackout. Extensive Bolivarian naval assets have also put to sea in the north of Sur America and along her west coast, but without satellite communications their numbers and movements are difficult to ascertain.

1. Not anything super pertinent, but the Pakistanis and the Indians are having diplomatic talks about restoring the territory Pakistan took from India during the civil war.

2. The Union offered you a mineral investment deal where we give you a $220 billion zero-interest loan for four years, on the condition that 60% of the profits of the mines established using the funds of that loan be turned over to the Union during the duration of the loan.

I will join the Union in declaring war on the East PF, moving troops towards Pacific North Africa. Incendiary bombing will prelude our arrival.
@Ance, what’s the state of my nuclear arsenal?

The Bolivarian Union, speaking in solidarity with the United Mexican States, has noted her support of the campaign of siege as a 'legitimate and wise action of non-aggression designed to bring about the withdrawal of an illegal occupation'. So the Bolivar Union is invading the East Pacific Federation?
The only reason why the deadline wasn't respected was because (OOC: I didn't have the time to.) everything part of the nation's property was being moved out of the United Mexican States. The Mexican states bordering the Bolivar Union strongly believe in restoring stability in the Federation, and if they had any doubt in the warnings they received, it all disapeared after seeing hostile vehicles and troops entering their lands, aiming to slauther their brothers and sisters. I wonder how these forces have crossed the highly protected border canal, which is equipped with defense systems equal to the rest of the country's defenses and guarded by a considerable number of veteran soldiers, with the population opposing invasion forces. The infrastructure, energy production facilities, communication infrastructure, research centers, railways, airspace, airports, coastlines, borders, military bases and everything built by the Federation is protected by the military, so any sabotage missions have likely failed to completely distrupt military organization or command. Contrarily to Myanmar, where the military forces were invading an enemy territory, the military forces are presently defending their country, therefore fighting a threat that could destroy their families and their homes if it's not stopped now, giving them far greater morale than in the other wars, so the messages meant to cause their surrender are most likely ineffective (Why is there French messages?). Also, none of the Independentist Mexican States have an airforce or naval capabilities, which is quite a disadvantage if they have to fight not only against internal forces, but also external forces from every direction, with Bolivar planes and ships unable to bring weapons or supplies, and with ressource, power and food supplies from the rest of Mexico instantly cut after the declaration of a ''siege'', it won't take long before the governors reconsider their decision. An ultimatum is sent to the Independentist Mexican States, informing that support will only be restored if the states act more kindly towards the peacekeeping and military forces working to complete a peaceful transition. The ambassador in Brazilia has finally informed the Bolivar Union's government that any military force entering the Federation's territory, including territorial waters and airspace, will suffer the consequences invasion forces deserve for attacking the country.

Good luck invading North Africa. It will simply divert manpower and ressources from internal conflict with the Intermarium and Romania, weakening the West Rhine's military even more. I doubt incendiary bombs will do any considerable damage to defense forces. The West Rhine is also declaring war on Israel with these aggressive actions, which could cause the AS, including Finland to declare war on the GPER's creator. The chances of success in this possible war are low and will only bring more suffering to Europe.

Invading, not at all. Providing peacekeepers and logistical support to the UMS, certainly.

The Mexican states bordering the Bolivar Union strongly believe in restoring stability in the Federation, and if they had any doubt in the warnings they received, it all disapeared after seeing hostile vehicles and troops entering their lands, aiming to slauther their brothers and sisters.

Aiming to slaughter isn't exactly a reasonable interpretation of the situation on the ground, but sure. I'll waive you the 'strongly believe' for the moment, but keep in mind that better than 50% of Mexicans even in the border states poll for the independist parties.

I wonder how these forces have crossed the highly protected border canal, which is equipped with defense systems equal to the rest of the country's defenses and guarded by a considerable number of veteran soldiers, with the population opposing invasion forces.

With significant ease, I imagine. The native Mexican forces, if they align with their government, are amenable to the deployment of peacekeeping forces. If they don't align with the government - well, currently they're blind and deaf, and very much so lacking in orders to start a war. Under such circumstances low-ranking officers tend to sit on their hands and wait for the situation to develop.

The infrastructure, energy production facilities, communication infrastructure, research centers, railways, airspace, airports, coastlines, borders, military bases and everything built by the Federation is protected by the military, so any sabotage missions have likely failed to completely distrupt military organization or command.

Mm, doubtful. Protected by a military, perhaps - the Mexican military who was complicit in disabling the PF bases, most likely. Even if we accept for the moment that all of those locations you list were actively patrolled (which they aren't in major countries, and I can't say I've seen you establish otherwise), those soldiers and patrols are still based out of centralized military barracks and installations for logistical reasons. The logistics of which have just been cut.

Contrarily to Myanmar, where the military forces were invading an enemy territory, the military forces are presently defending their country, therefore fighting a threat that could destroy their families and their homes if it's not stopped now, giving them far greater morale than in the other wars, so the messages meant to cause their surrender are most likely ineffective.

Yes, defend their homes - against the Pacific Federation occupiers who have just run out the deadline from their President to leave soveriegn Mexican soil. Are the Cascadians fighting to defend their Mexican families? The Canadians standing ready to defend their Mexican homes? These are men and women who want to go home at the end of the day, isolated in the middle of a population that has just expressed a firm desire for them to leave. I'll let Ance decide efficacy of the messages, of course. But there's certainly an impetus there.

(Why is there French messages?).

It would be quite rude to leave out your humble Quebecois.

I have to say that I find that hard to believe - unless there was a decision in the past which stripped the Mexican aspects of the PF's military of all of their non-infantry assets, they no doubt field both pilots, armor, and naval assets. Not that they actually need to do any fighting yet, unless your occupation forces intend to start attempting to compel the locals to supply them with logistical support.

The embassy in Sur Centralia is polite, but correct - the Pacific Federation may do as she wishes within her borders, but given the presence of peacekeepers of the Bolivarian Armed Forces within the territories of the United Mexican States is at the request of her legitimate government, and the Pacific Federation no longer has any mandate for the deployment of military force within that territory, any attacks on the peacekeepers will be responded to in kind. She recommends that the Pacific Federation take the President's offer and complete the withdrawal of the occupation forces from Mexican soil.
