To: Alois Kramer
From: Harold Faulkner
Good Morning, Senator.
Whereas I cannot pledge my name in support to any such campaign at this time, especially since that publicity stunt in Montana, I am at least willing to be a listening audience to what you have to share.
Keep me in the loop for this meeting, Senator, and I hope my schedule will allow me to be in attendance for it.
Godspeed,
- Gov. Harold Faulkner

On today February 27, 2017, President Reed signed several executive orders. The following is my formal position on a number of those.
I strongly oppose the repeal by President Reed of Executive Order 13672, which bans discrimination against LGBTQ individuals by the federal government. While an argument can certainly be made regarding private institutions having religious objections to the hiring of LGBTQ individuals, the hiring of LGTBQ individuals should be protected under civil rights legislation and the federal government should not make hiring decisions based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
I fully support the President at his executive order regarding domestic surveillance and protecting the rights of Americans. His action regarding the National Domestic Defense Council is also a positive step, although I would encourage him to replace the council with a more effective organization that respects the rights of individuals.
The federal hiring freeze is an excellent start to creating a leaner and more efficient federal government. We must fully audit and assess the federal government and all its programs, cutting the inefficient ones so that the programs which actually benefit Americans can be given more support.
I condemn in the harshest terms President Reed’s repeal of Executive Order 13672, and will be proposing legislation in the near future that will protect the rights of LGBTQ individuals. Democrats, Liberals and Progressives must unite against the disregard for our America values regarding tolerance and acceptance of all peoples, as well as the separation of church and state.

Sarah June West @SJWest One of the first decisions Nazi government had signed into law were special legislation that made discrimination of non-Aryans in public service possible. One of the first decisions of President Reed is repeal of Executive Order 13672 which makes discrimination of LGBT people possible. As a Senator in General Court I will make a bill that will provide for additional protection of LGBT people in The Bay State to try and rectify the injustice done in the White House. #westandtogether #progressiveBayState #stopthehate RETWEETSFAVORITE 49412168 2:11pm - 3/6/17 |
Sarah June West @SJWest I expect Democrats and Progressives to stand together to stop the hateful politics of the POTUS and his GOP cronies in the only way possible- by forming a strong block in opposition to the Medieval measures of the gun-loving, gay-hating, woman-fearing lobby of fanatics and corporate mafia wives. #votethebootlickersout #21stcentury #standtogether RETWEETSFAVORITE 49412168 2:11pm - 3/6/17 |
Sarah June West @SJWest Our formerly independent Senator Breckenridge is again, eerily silent on the matter. I hope this time he won't put his loyalty to party of Reed, Kramer and Amaras before his voters and his family. I hope this time he opposes this measure. Alex, I encourage you to cut your ties with the party represented by people who consistently speak and act against you. I hope you're capable of returning to your old principles. Executive Order 13672 was a travesty. It mandated that any man who called himself a woman in federal employment would get free reign to be treated as a woman in every way including to use a women's bathroom or showers and objecting to it would have the hammer of the law dropped on you.
María Antonieta Arroyo Villanueva de Peña
@BoyThatsALongName
The left that calls itself pro-science needs to learn about chromosomes and the basic facts of sex. To say that a man can just say he is a woman and then be treated as one is the most anti feminist belief possible. Even the WNBA may be about to have a male basketball player in the league all because basic facts are treated as hate speech.
María Antonieta Arroyo Villanueva de Peña
@BoyThatsALongName
Even the First Lady was dragged through the mud by left wing media for daring to say that men are men and women are women. This leftist crusade is a crusade against reality and bullying won't make us give up the fight.

Ending the Winstoncare mandate to provide abortifacients and fighting back against government discrimination against religious organizations are great steps for a pro-life and pro-liberty government. The government using the threat of prison to try to force nuns into providing abortion pills was a despicable act that should never be repeated.

These executive orders take strong stands for the First, Second and Fourth Amendment rights of all Americans and help our path towards fiscal responsibility and checking bureaucratic growth. I'm happy to have the chance to work with the President to continue protecting and promoting conservative values and our Constitutional government.

Sarah June West @SJWest Someone should give GOP Whip some biology lessons and teach her that sex is not solely determined by chromosomes. Also, folks I hope you're reading this paranoid- mixture of nuns threatened by prison, discrimination against religious communities and desperate need to protect WNBA. Sarah June West @SJWest This is not Monty Python. It' s not Dr. Strangelove. It's GOP politics. And it would be funny if it didn't result in LGBT people being killed as victims of hate crimes RETWEETSFAVORITE 49412168 2:11pm - 3/6/17 |

Atticus Marlowe @jeffersoniandemocracy Personally, I stand opposed to them Executive Orders. It's a lot wiser if those kinda decisions go to Congress since it is more in spirit of Democracy to let state representatives and Senator have a voice in sort of things that affect everyone. Everything else puts executive branch first. RETWEETSFAVORITE 229333 2:31 pm - 2/28/17 |

The brazen GOP appears set on bypassing Congress to instill their extremist agenda with the Reed Imperial Presidency, and on regressive Executive Orders. So be it. I'll see them in court.

The Republican Party has decided to change from forcing disastrous bills through Congress to taking unilateral action from the President to implement a regressive agenda.

In one sweeping move the President has taken his place on the wrong side of history, with a brazen attempt to undo the hard fought progress that has been made for LGBTQ+ American. Despite this, rest assured that the Democratic Party will not give up the fight.

Well now America is totally alone as the world's murder capital. The President is barely back from the murder mayhem at Dillon and he's already undoing the best anti gun violence international effort we have!
