Obviously shipping in the Suez is of great importance to the Empire-in-Exile, for her trade links to Europe from much of her holdings must pass either thence, or up the west side of Africa. She will be loathe to allow that route to be closed, for any reason.

Those natives must be taught a thing or two about the glory of imperialism.

Wow, I see almost all nations being involved in this crisis... or at least effected. Both Italian states have interests in the region, and so does the 2nd HRE.

Yeah, the 2nd HRE is going to be in there faster than Napoleon I beat Piedmont.

Use paint.net and do disputed territory in hashed markings.

If you let it fall to the hands of those British bastards, they won't let you pass through it without hefty taxes. We, however, would welcome such a wonderful empire with good prospect to the future and will willingly let you pass in trade for some sweet research exchange.

Ah, but perhaps another power would open the port to all, with nominal tariffs for its maintenance.

As an open minded power aimed at liberty and equality of chance, of course we would open the port to anyone not intending to use it for military purposes.

Also OP, do we can only do the secret operation once through out the whole game or is it something that refresh with each turn?

The glorious French is a well known enemy of the Brits, surely they would be willing to aid a potential ally to get rid such a nasty thorn?

And what about the free movement of neutral military assets?

Secret operations are usually a use-and-lose proposition, but most crises can provide additional operations to the "winners".

Do not listen to the evil ways of the natives come to the British side we can give you favourable tariffs on the Suez and perhaps even the fabled free trade agreement I doubt the natives could do that.

Obviously we were talking about opposing parties and their navies, any allies of ours would surely be allowed to move freely.

But why would monarchist powers wish to ally to someone who is anti-imperialist?

Imperialism is the ideology that a nation deserves to enslave another nation. It has nothing to do with the form of government itself.

Soon Egypt, soon you shall bow before the throne of the king-emperor and beg for your forgiveness ( I just thought of how funny it would be if we ended up on the same team either E.V.I.L or the free leaders)

PART I - LEADER
Name: King Edward VIII
Age:68
Gender: Male
Nationality: British
Appearance:
Brief Biography:Edward was the eldest son of King George V and Queen Mary. He was named Prince of Wales on his sixteenth birthday, nine weeks after his father succeeded as king. As a young man, he served in the British Army during the First World War and undertook several overseas tours on behalf of his father. Edward became king on his father's death in early 1936 however he was forced to abdicate due to his engagement with Wallis Simpson, in 1937 his forged an alliance with Oswald Mosely and aided Mr Mosely in seizing control over the state and became king once more. When Mosely died Edward managed to outmanoeuvre his opponent and ascend to the having absolute control over the empire

PART II - SUPERPOWER
Name: the Greater British empire
Age:
Territories: Great Britain, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Whatever colonies Britain had in Africa.
Ideology: Absolutism, Imperialism, anti communism, capatalist
Brief History: in the years after the first great war the united kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland was a boiling pot of radical ideologies with an economic crisis looming and an entire generation had been lost in an effort to defeat the German menace. One man who was a fervent supporter of fascism was sir Oswald Mosely, a man who had distinguished himself in the British army during the first great war, in the aftermath of the war sir Oswald Mosely entered the world of politics and in 1921 he joined the newly formed labour party and managed to quickly gain support within the labour party thanks to his popularity among the people of Britain, this popularity was mainly down to the fact that Britain's control over the world was beginning to grow weak and Mr Mosely's arguments for reasserting control over the empire and suppressing all independence movements gave the British people hope for the empire, it was also in these years when the prince of Wales Edward Windsor began expressing his fascist beliefs causing a great deal of concern among both the royal family and parliament. In 1928 Oswald Mosely managed to become the leader of the Labour party by concealing his fascist tendencies and slowly transforming the party into one that represented his beliefs however in the 1931 general election he failed to sway the British people into his idea of a reforged Britain and so Stanley Baldwin and the Conservative party gained control over the state. In the year 1936 Edward VIII ascended to the British throne, with Edward VIII as king the popularity of the Labour party under Oswald Mosely soared as King Edward VIII (Often referred to as 'the people's king') often endorsed Mosely's activities. Unfortunately in the late part of 1936 King Edward caused a constitutional crisis by engaging to Wallis Simpson, an American who had divorced two husbands causing the politicians of Britain to argue that this meant that she was not Queen-consort material and so the king was forced to abdicate however not without the out roar of the public and with the king having a plan to gain his power back. In the early days of 1937 the former king formed an alliance with Oswald Mosely and in the May of 1937 a revolution was staged in London to take control of the government in the name of king Edward VIII and Oswald Mosely. As most of the public supports this alliance of the king and Mosely and most of the military on the home isles having some king of allegiance to either Oswald Mosely's Labour or the king the revolution succeeded on the home isles with relative ease and few casualties. With the overthrowing of the old government and the exile of all none cooperative royal family members, and so a new regime came to rule over Britain.

Although the revolution was extremely successful in Britain , the situation in the colonies was very different. In places such as Canada, Australia and New Zealand they were torn out of the empire by both envious exiles and foreign powers while African and Indian colonies were facing massive revolutions. What followed next was the reconquest of the empire with the mighty British army being deployed across the world in an effort to reclaim what was lost, for the most part these operations were very successful with the army fighting only poorly armed warlords and revolutionaries and by 1941 the colonies in both Africa and India were reclaimed while Europe fought a war that was of no interest to Britain. In 1954 tragedy struck the great British empire when our glorious prime minister Oswald Mosely was unjustly assassinated by British democrats who wished to return to the system that brought nothing but ruin to the empire. What followed next was a power vacuum in which the members of Mosely's inner circle were desperately attempting to secure power away from the king who had his own desire to seize control over the state. In the end the fascists quite simply couldn't command the same popularity from the public that the king did and so the king became the absolute head of the British state, and so the empire was now back to it's roots of a glorious absolute monarchy under the beloved King-emperor!

Ok, so with no UK involved, how did WWII work out? France beat Germany?

However, I must bring one thing to attention! If UK never was engaged in the war, that means they never took my African claims, so I should still have Eritrea, Somalia and Somaliland!

Well, except British Somaliland. I suppose the Brits were content with retaking that, but too unbothered by the rest of the world war to kick the Italians out completely.
