President Jethro Kendi: Don't you think New York suffered the wrath of nuclear warfare? Bombs flattened the city, the city you see before you was rebuilt by the Republic. Staten Island, ground zero, is still irradiated and uninhabitable, hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers who thought they could take shelter in the City Vault there now roam as irradiated ghouls. No leader serves 14 terms because his people love him so, the truth is that your nations military has the government in a death hold, and they exert their Authoritarian Views. Your nation has adopted a cynical attitude, that the people must be controlled to be safe. You say lesser nations would have fallen, but New York suffered the same fate. Albany was flattened, actually flattened, we rebuilt a branch new city through use of new resources. You claim you have done what was "neccesary to lead a broken people to survive its tribulations", but your people weren't broken, your leaders were and are. If you find our stance on Democracy, Freedom, and our opposition to tyrannical dictators too much, then the door is right there MADAM!
Kendi slammed his fist down on the table, pointing to the door of the room.
Elisabeth kept her military posteriour, her poise and self control where paramount, a gift of her years in the military.
"We have not made claims of judgement, mister president. You have. We came here in terms of peace and cooperation. We came bearing gifts, you responded with scorn and accusations and insults to our democracy. If your hatred towards our people and our ways overshadows our wishes for peace and security amongst our borders, I will leave. My goal is the safety of our citizens, I would dare to guess yours are the same."
