Plus, it doesn't matter how much Alternative history is put into it, Mexico isn't a superpower. Here is something to remember: Alternative History within the bounds of Realism.
-Mexico has an "automatic" machine gun? Well, just pointing out it is 1900, so this "automatic" gun is full of flaws, unreliable shooting, and just pure bad quality. Mexico doesn't really have an advantage, that rifle won't really be much of a difference for the next 10 years.

Yes, I have an automatic gun. No, I will not use it in the battlefield. It is untested and only has one copy in the entire world. Best thing I have is semi-automatic gun.

Well, I will not make any decisions until Germany makes one. I will also not declare war on Russia until late February.
