Just highlight the text and hit the grey "URL" button. It will do most of the work for you. Then insert the "=http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=172254&start=25".

Remove the spaces:

[URL=http://forum.nationstates.net/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=172254&start=25 ] soul [ /URL ]
