I don't get it....isn't the Conservative Discussion Zone the "Independent Discussion Zone"? After all, there's no godless Liberals here, dependent on welfare checks, government handouts, their mommy's apronstrings and/or the Koran. Conservatives are the true independents.

No. I have to say I am more conservative in my views, but I do not like having discussions with brainwashed party-members. The thing about both fascist and communist nations is that both have only one party. There is no winning a thread for active discussion about any subject, just popularity of your view. That is why this part of the website is called a forum. So, in this party oriented forum, it is no surprise that there are people who simply believe the loudest voice they hear. I feel that the American right of free speech entitles all to speak their views, but I will not listen to people who want to silence dissenters. So keep posting, just know I don't care.
