Petition to rename the Conservative Discussion Zone

Conservative is just too confining. What this place should be called is the American/Freedom discussion zone.

That is my suggestion are there any others?

I would suggest: "I don't want any changes except for the changes that where made before by the ones who didn't want changes except for the changes that where made before by the ones who didn't want changes except ... oh damn the definition of conservative (as defined by an undefined amount of it's followers) is a circular logic, whoever coined that should have been more conservative ... help get me out of this loop!"

By the way what has American to do with Freedom?
Logically freedom is that you can do whatever you want, this has its own self-destruct though because exercising freedom without limitation can thus potentially limit the freedom of others.
So philosophically speaking the most freedom you can get is the amount to do whatever you want unless this causes other peoples freedom to be hindered. Ergo, you should only need two rules;
1 'You can do whatever you want to do unless the result of your (in)action results in other people not being able to do whatever they want to do."
2 "The first rule may only be broken to prevent somebody else from breaking the first rule unless the intention of that somebody else is to prevent breaking the first rule"

I think that the USofA has a tad bit more than two rules, thus you do not live in Freedom, nor is anybody else for that matter.
