In a move today by President Obama to legalize Marijuana, the President went to the Library of Congress and got out the "Book of Drugs". Originally drafted by Richard Nixon and officially published under the Reagan Administration, it is 14 inches tall, 9 inches wide, and 6 inches thick and outlines the complete list of drugs and drug combinations and why they are illegal. As Obama rifled through the book pages at an historic meeting at the Library of Congress, he finally found the page that contains the entry:
Marijuana- Any number of preparations of the Cannabis plant intended for use as a psychoactive drug. Usually in herbal form and smoked, it is illegal because Mexican weed growers were putting local paper mills out of business, and because it impairs people's ability to drive and operate machinery while stoned.
He looked at one of his advisors and they gave a mutual nod, as if they were about to launch a nuclear weapon. President Obama then used a Sharpie, which was slated to be preserved at the Smithsonian, to cross out the entry. But what he didn't realize was that the Marijuana entry was still intact, that he had crossed out- and according to the terms of the meeting, legalized- crystal meth.
