Since I am the original creator, I will give you some tips:
1) First, add yourself to the canvas. This is so people are appealed with your art style and will determine how many requests you get.
2) Overlap people if the canvas is full.
3) The customer is always right.
4) Communicate with the requesters. This makes you look like a social person who is actually dedicated to drawing your artwork. You will also make a few friends along the way.

This what you do when you have a flag shaped like sorcery's.

When you have a long flag, make it a cuboid.
If you have an evil nation, shape it like an upright rectangle.

Also, have them look in different directions. It makes them look more lively.
