Explain to me, why it is “obnoxious” to not want to have your work despite how dark it may be not deleted because someone pretends to take offense to it?

cliche: forum posters making strawman constructions of positions they disagree with. The idea that someone is "pretending" to take offense reads a whole lot of malicious intent into the mod decision that I don't think is supported by any evidence.

What I am going to say is that you don’t have a leg to stand on in having a low opinion of someone’s RPs. Especially considering your RPing skills, which are nowhere near comparable. People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

The latest example is them going after the good friend of Markion, Kraven for having the gall to have a love for writing a dark dystopian setting. It was an excellent read before it was unjustly purged for no reason outside of “I don’t like it so delete it.”

honestly, i've found most of the posting by the Kraven Defenders to be so obnoxious - people are bringing up law precedents from ancient Athens to try and win an argument about forum rules (cliche: internet users pontificating like John Adams at the Boston Massacre trial during petty online arguments) - that i've been reverse radicalized on the topic. I know it’s probably not technically feasible, but I do wish NS had a more robust block feature. When I Foe someone I want to not even be aware that they exist on the forums anymore, not this “ooooh do you want to see what they said???” interface. Never once have I benefited from actually clicking "Display this post."

That is part of the reason why I just don’t bother with that feature on my nation or on Trump Almighty. It’s basically giving even more unwanted attention to the haters

For me, having that enforced moment of having to think, "do I really want or need to see what this user has to say?" has dramatically decreased the number of times I do end up reading something that makes me Mad On the Internet.

I get warned probably like once or twice a year or so.

I had a visible warning level in my UCP until a few days ago and I genuinely don't know what it was for and I really don't give enough of a shit to file a GHR for my warning record.

Given the drama surrounding the powertripping mods over the unjust removal of Kraven’s RP, not having a warning level seems to be more of an anomaly than ever these days
