I think your nation still fits it fine; it seems progressive enough to me. But then again, I live in the United States, so my standards for "left-leaning" and "progressive" are lower than Hell itself.

And a few others that popped into my mind were Aquaria and Uthossia. There are probably a few others that I'm forgetting, too. I guess my puppet Ingffhaestia also half-counts (the only things it's missing are being MT and having hyper-realistic government website-style factbooks).

Tbh, looks more like simplifying radicalism on your part, because it's very typical of radicalized folk from all parts of the political spectrum to identify everything they slightly disagree with as coming from "them from the other side", i.e. that one big one size fits all category for the enemy.

Bonus points if their factbooks look like actual government websites.

Apparently, 19.7% (38/193) of all real-life UN recognized nations end with -ia, whereas less than 3.6% (7/193) end in -stan, making -ia 5.4x more common than -stan. The more you know.
