Cliche: WIP factbooks that never stop being WIP

This was a massive problem I had with my former (now-purged) lore where I started several factbooks at the same time and never finished them. I only recall finishing two factbooks at the time.

Now, I'm in a state of what you could term limbo, where I'm not sure where to proceed with my lore. I experimented with an alt-history based on First Age Beleriand from Tolkien's legendarium, but I'm pretty certain that I'm not going to proceed with it.

I always need to go over and re-write some of the content in older factbooks, since my writing is constantly improving, I grow dissatisfied with the way I format everything, and/or I decide to change a portion of my lore. I guess you could look at it that way—your lore is a continual development, instead of a project that you finish and turn in.
