It followed a period where there were very few open FT RPs. Personally that's what motivated me to attempt (and fail) to host one, although I did it over on NS because trying to host anything even related to war in an FT setting demands a lot of organisation, in order to avoid powerwanking, and fuckery with the scenario to make sure everyone involved has a similar position.

The thing is though, I think most new FT players just love to do godmodding because it's the greatest way for someone to have an excuse to powerwank simply because they have FTL tech and other bullshittery. It's what's annoying about it.


Although, I've only really considered being an FTL nation for once because I really liked the city aesthetics but I just went to a more early PMT esque type nation to maintain a balance of realism and "cyberpunk" aesthetics.

Cliche: Referring to your nation as an "imperial empire". Or any other redundant nation pretitle. That's like calling someone a humanoid human. IMO the only exception is "democratic republic" because a lot of IRL nations use that and it often ends up being ironic (nations that refer to themselves as that almost always turn out to actually be military dictatorships or something along those lines).
