NS Cliches II: Re-Rebooted

People moaning that other people moaning about a cliché is itself a cliché because the first cliché has been around so long that people consider it a cliché to criticise that cliché.

In other words, a clichéjerk.

Cliché: People writing GA proposals thinking that the General Assembly can actually do anything beyond 'WA members stats get adjusted based on the category that the proposal is in if it gets passed'.

That and pushing proposals that make no sense but are legal anyways with junk like "mandatory tooth brushing" or "WA standard traffic laws" along with some weird, hazy rulings either for or against transgender and lgbtq+ persons... Leaning hard on either end of the spectrum.

Plus that one straight pride proposal that was wonderfully homophobic, luckily it was shot down and deemed illegal, afaik.

Still ridiculous that we get stupid proposals destroying sovereignty and the right to self-governance because the delegates can't catch a whiff of common sense even if it hit them like a semi-truck.

Also, another reason why I dropped from the WA.

you make a character and then somebody else just takes that character over without your knowledge or consent.

Never had that happen but I did once have someone try and involve Aikoland in an RP (years back and when it had a completely different canon) without my permission and then tried to act like they weren't using my nation, they were just using a nation that happened to have the exact same name and backstory as Aikoland.

Mine have too high of a power level for any casual to even try steal them. Honestly, I'm actually a bit annoyed that no summie ever tried ripping off my WDS or the Legion.

It can include many things: Are you in a thread where you have to use images but found one that is too big? There are sites online to edit images! Why just put it in URLs, especially when the OP forbids it?
Do you need to create a logo to do the RolePlay of a company but you don't have Photoshop or similar? There are sites online to do this! Sure, they're pretty limited if you don't sign up and don't have the Pro version. But it's better than nothing!
But above all, if there are a number of sites allowed to upload images to NS, why do some continue to use the only one that is not allowed?

Laziness and/or a lack of will to actually use something as easy to use (w/o an account) like imgur.

Small recommendation: I use PhotoPea which is like an open source clone of Photoshop that's website-based.
It's pretty awesome

Portrait AI and Face Generator are your best friend there.

I just find actors and mess around with Portrait AI. It lets me also worldbuild with official Government portrait artists.
