I would say it's cool. It's hard to have a Confederate flag that doesn't look imposing. It's very clearly the flag of the Confederacy but it manages to distance itself from how the original is used. It fits very well with what the AN is so for that I have to say it's cool.

A tad confusing and disturbing. Personally, I'd ditch the little stars on the top and bottom aswell as reshape the Tri-Bars to more equalized out.
