until the Napoleonic wars, it was a rather small nation.. or rather not a nation.. in 1812 they revolt against the Westphalian King and Establish a Senatorial Dictatorship and were at the forefront of german nationalism until the Prussian invasion of 1883 where at cologne they defeat the Prussians with the help of a swan. France declares war and aids Prussia, by 1912 the Prussians are victorious and defeated them and form the german empire. following the attempted assassination of the german emperor, they declare war on Poland in 1916 and steamroll over them. However France declares war and pushes out to the rhine and establishes a Westphalian Empire. by 1926 the french have been defeated and WW1 ends.. in 1953 they break away from Germany and Germany shatters into a cluster dominated by the Austrian empire.
