Agreed. Acceptance of Bismarkian/Mercantilist planned obsolescence as normal operating procedure is one of the worst things foisted upon us after WW2. Its as though the rich industrialists among us learned nothing from WW1.

For those of us who use manual can openers, it is better to buy a manual can opener for $40 that will last 20 years, than to buy a $2 dollar manual can opener that will only last a year at most.

Totally agreed, especially among those radical left/right in the USA (Nikole Hannah-Jones, Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, American Communists).

OK, gonna try this again, NO RUSSIA SYMPATHIZERS IN REPLIES PLEASE (I only say this because last time the whole conversation got derailed into a massive argument instead of actual opinions).

It is unfair to call some Ukrainian Special Forces units (i.e. Azov Battalion, Battalion Donbass) Neo-Nazis in their current form despite their Far-Right origins since it both feeds ammunition to Putin's actual Nazi-like ambitions and discredits 8 years of Ukraine's effort to reform said battalions (which not only removed the political aspect from Azov Battalion but the Far-Right control 0 seats in the Ukrainian Rada). Also, Jews are well-known to fight within Azov (Nathan Khazin being the most famous commander) and Ihor Kolomoisky (Jewish-Ukrainian magnate) has voiced support for them.

(The person posting this is a part-Ukrainian Jew who is totally against legitimate Neo-Nazis like Wagner Group or Aryan Nations, just to put this in perspective)
