Disagree, while some technology can deal huge blows to humanity, (WMDs) there is no reason that they could be destroyed before they could be used or to effect most of the world, with countries like New Zealand or Brazil not being affected a lot. While technology could potentially also damage humanity in other sectors, such as Skynet-like AI or Ultrakill like robots massacring humanity, I don't think that people would be dumb enough if handled with these to damn humanity.

Agree. The west in general is bad.

Yuju is a much better songwriter than Somi. Somi's earlier songs are bad, to say the least, while Yuju's debut single is great.

While I've never heard of either of those people and I'll take your word for Yuju being better than Somi, I do want to say that I think songwriters' first songs aren't really the best indicator of their quality and talent. I think it's better to look at their later, more recent works because the artists would have improved a lot by then. Very few people start off talented, and everyone makes mistakes; what matters is how they learn from them.

It's infuriating when a series has excellent visual and audio quality (great animation/cinematography, amazing soundtrack, amazing sound design, etc.), but piss-poor writing, characters and plot.

Agree. The fact that fact that Germans of my generation were not taught their own recent history openly, fully, and accurately was disheartening. On this side of the pond, schools abandoned requiring children to master the rudiments of logic, reason, cogency, numeracy, and geometry to pass the 6th grade (so as to graduate High School fully equipped to discern truth from BS) for Dewey's Progressive Modern Education "assembly-line schooling" is abominable. Most libraries no longer offer easy access to multiple views of contemporary events, near history, and history in general (and search engines only offer "The Narrative" whether or not it is objectively factual or scientifically sound) compounds the problem. The cynicism of the next generation wondering if the Holocaust was really a thing is of our own making.
