While my dream of Texas becoming a country again would become crushed, at least we’ll be safer this way. If we did balkanize, we’d have issues with currencies, have small wars that will weaken us, have issues with our divided economy, and more.
Still, it’s an interesting concept for a dystopian movie or something like that

New Minecraft updates take away the feeling of the original game.

While I consider myself a computer geek, I rather stick to Windows for practical purposes. Plus super cheap Window keys are a dime a dozen nowadays, so cost isn't really that much of an issue anymore....is this the part where I turn in my geek card?

While a fun wiki to browse, TV Tropes promotes bad habits in budding writers by treating stories as a matter of stacking tropes upon tropes on each other like they're LEGOs.

Agree. There is no legitimate reason to do any serious photography or filming on a tablet. Anything beyond what is needed to scan a document is a waste of resources. With the amount of space inside a tablet, even a single camera bump is absolutely a marketing gimmick.

I have literally never watched or expressed interest in seeing Two and a Half Men, but I have noticed that way too many shows just run themselves into social and financial oblivion instead of just ending at a good time. So even though I've never seen the show, it's probable that its eventual ending would have been sweeter if it was earlier, as you've suggested it be.

Hard agree. Unlike with crypto, where I can see some benefits with the technology and understand the (initial) hype, I can't think of a single redeeming quality about NFTs.

Command economies can only work in the short-term, when you need to rapidly transfer resources to certain sectors of the economy.
