Agree. But to expound, what is called AI isn't truly AI, it is at best Near-AI, and at worst false AI. As it is, it is still subject to the biases of its architects. It will take the jobs that the architects of NAI are predisposed to arrange NAI to acclimate toward. I think that to treat what they currently call AI as if it were actually AI and not the psuedo/quasi/near AI that they are, is a dangerous misconception. It is a misconception that could end up not just costing millions of jobs but end up with with millions dead should they continue down their current path.

Blind trust in AI technology is going to fubar (foul up beyond all recognition) some large corporation or even a nation state within the next 20 years.

Company? Yes. Nation state? If it’s hyper-dependent on it or the systems that run AI, then absolutely.

The FX-05 Xiuhcoatl is marginally better than what was supposed to go into service instead for Mexico: the G36. It also has a badass name.

The issue with that statement is that the Nazis by definition would never accept Jewish scientists working for them. It would go against the very image of the perfect Aryan civilization (including "Germanic scientists" etc) Nazism likes to portray itself as. Thinking that not only could Germany somehow win the war realistically or that it would have adopted scientific advancements made by Jewish scientists is a fundamental misunderstanding of the entire situation.
