Disagree. Anime is a medium, which means you shouldn't just the entirety of it by the sheer number of junk genre pieces. Would you judge the Western cinema for producing romantic comedies, instead doing life-changing dramas non-stop? (though you can certainly apply this criticism to Mainland Chinese cinema). Modern computer games generally fail to grab my interrest. For some reason I keep playing the same stuff I did the last decade, modded to the upper limit. The total war series is exemplary there: I keep firing up my old ETW and mod it till the end, so I can have 25.000 soldiers on the field and the AI develops a brain, that's way better than that fantasy-warhammer-crap or Rome-II. Rome-II was so utterly shit... what good are cinematic effects in battle when the AI is almost worse than original RTW? Where have the good strategy games gone?

One should much prefer a multi-party system to a two-party system. Instead of having two significant forces entrenched in political power and unwilling to compromise on most issues, multiple schools of thought have greater chances of compromising with their opposition since none of them could form parliamentary majorities alone. Hence, such a system could discourage polarization and have reasonable legislation churn from a government body.
