Of the many post-colonial nations on this site, Dutch Formosa is different is that it isn’t either a dictatorial hellhole or an incredibly liberal nation based in the North Atlantic, which is a breath of fresh air honestly. As a matter of fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a nation based on colonial-era Taiwan, so Dutch Formosa is already pretty unique just by that alone. It doesn’t go to much off the beaten path, but just enough so that it’s at least somewhat interesting and not just a carbon copy of five million already existing nations. They’ve also got quite and extensive and colorful history full of conflict, something that I legitimately enjoy reading through. Another good thing it that it has actually developed things relating to its geography, which while it is a real world place, is still something that even nations the age of several years choose to neglect, so that’s nice as well. All in all, a pretty good nation

Ah, a fellow post-apocalyptic nation. Not just a fellow post-apocalyptic nation, but another birthed by a baptism of fire that is nuclear ass-kicking to the eighteenth degree. Furthermore, unlike my unoriginal ass just stealing the lore of two very well known gaming franchises and lazily trying to stitch them together, The Front Range takes a different approach in how it establishes itself and actually goes out of its way to create a distinct identity. Also, the sarcastic, cynical and blunt tone of their factbooks very much reminds me of mine, except again they've actually managed to be funny.

I will be totally honest with you, i at first thought that it would be some socialist metropolis by the flag. But Oh how wonderfully wrong i was, it is a hellhole of an dystopian dictatorship. The above nation, despite being based on a meme, actually takes a fairly serious approach to its lore. Wawa cat has always been a fun meme, and the Wawa Cat Republic has a lot of the same enjoyment in its lore. The flag's also pretty neat, overall great job Wawa.
