That is certainly very interesting, Mr. Germaine... and Vice Archbrain Vektorin shares my opinion. He has been chanting "Moon computer!" for a few minutes now, completely obsessed with this concept, despite being unable to aid it's realisation. Even I admit that the propossed complex sounds fascinating, and will probably put some thought into it in my free time. Using solar panels would take care of the required energy to power it... The temperature on the moon would make cooling much easier... And, if you really think about it, why limit ourselves to just the surface of the moon... Let's hollow it out! We can leave the moon as an "outer shell" protecting the electronics from asteroids... |
I have always loved rules. They provide structure and help to maintain a certain level of order, both of which I am also rather fond of. Rules carry great importance. However, I have observed certain trends that I would consider an outright affront to the concept of rules, and I feel the need to say the following. Any written societal rule must carry importance and be supported by a logically sound justification. Any societal rule worth following is important enough to be written down. Any "rule" outside of these very generous boundaries is either common sense, and thus followed regardless of it's status as a rule, or nothing more than a suggestion, thus nothing to be enforced in either case. |
