Persia has some 173,000 kilometres of road, 73% of which are paved.

73% isn't exactly great, but it's not terrible either. Of course, it's not just enough for a road to be paved, they also require adequate grading, traffic control measures, shouldering, junctions and paint markings. which given the predominant lack of infrastructure investment, are likely severely lacking even on controlled-access highways and arterial routes. It's unsurprising most of the country has a traffic problem.

LinkDarker and Edgier: 2000's in Waisnor were considerably harsh and tough than 1990's. If main troubles of 90's were simply economic troubles and crime rate, then in 2000's big cultural and political turmoil were present. This all culminated in 2005 with "Black Sunday".

This is an interesting deviation from mainstream economic circumstances that occured around this time, while for a lot of countries, particularly in the eastern world, economic troubles culminated in the mid-late 90's, things in Waisnor seem to have hit rock bottom around the Y2K mark.
