True! Though industrialization and urbanization has made the majority of workers now live in cities, the rural population is still very high due to the government's land collectivization and rural development programs.

BN's cultural diet is made up in large part by fish or seafood!

Partially yes and partially no. While Lakan colonial forces often include units that specialize in enemy VIP elimination tasks, these units are nothing like your Solid Snake-ish or even SEAL-ish super duper tacticool squads but more like strike aircraft trained in extremely precise strikes deep into enemy territory resisting AA with conventional and nuclear weapons. We do, and we're relatively loyal in our obeying of the Laws of War. Well, unless it's against specific enemies.

The BN has issued a No Quarters rule against an enemy's armed forces in a previous military conflict.

Yes, absolutely. About 80% of the population is within a small mountainous region, so of course the government only owns a few very close buildings.

BN is filled with poverty and slums in nearly every corner, with the occasional corporal tower reaching into the sky.

We do have some problems with Irish separatist revolutionaries, both those who want to establish an independent Kingdom of Ireland and those who want an independent Irish republic. They're both largely irrelevant though and have not committed a major act of terror since the 1990s.

The BN allows politicla parties to have their own paramilitaries.

This is difficult to really answer, as it depends on what we're talking about. Most Vao (as of right now) aren't particularly in favor of or opposed to the Tsaivao Authority itself. For the individual nationstates on Tsaivao, usually there's strong enough nationalist and monarchist propaganda (or anti-monarchist propaganda if ya swing that hway) to make approval rating relatively high. Probably the most hated government on Tsaivao by its own people would be the Tsailan Republic, as the loose coalition of various swamp territories isn't particularly happy with itself most of the time due to weaknesses and compromises to other tribes. Out of the major nations, the lowest approval would probably be the Vukshao, just because of how far their nation has fallen from glory

Like hell we do. Despite being a fairly authoritarian and concersvative state, Laka loves anime, although not your usual modern isekai’s and slices of life, instead having entire studios in Japan specialized in producing shows for Lakan consumption. They are usually hand-drawn, somewhat retro-stylized shows, often including military and war themes in one form or another, with some being outright military training films for public use
