In a scenario where use of force is permitted, e.g. in self-defence or by the police as governed by their code of conduct, excessive use of force leading to injuries is still unlawful and is treated as a criminal offence under the heading of assaults. :meh:

Not a crime. We're a business, not a state. Strictly speaking, we'd be a violent non-state actor. Anyways, we don't have a draft. Our forces are purely voluntary, and well-compensated. If we need more forces, we hire freelance. There's plenty of those out there, and we do well to foster a healthy criminal underworld, so there's plenty of freelancers and our fixers have the connections to know how to find them.

If the assassin is hired and, at the hirer's encouragment by means of compensation, has killed the indicated person, the hirer is guilty as an accessory to murder. The assassin is guilty of murder.

Depends on the purpose: If this was used on state infrastructure you might get yourself killed or atleast interrogated and the cops wont be kind to you.

On a private line it would probably end in a fine. Severity depending wether any company secrets were stolen, wether personal information was lost etc etc.
