The man stops in the middle of the field, panting and gasping for air. He recollects his thoughts.

“Was I never in control of myself? What is it ever like to be human?”

The steady stream of questions that assaulted the last dregs of his sanity continued.

What am I? Was I truly ever alive? Should I end it all?

He takes a gander at the individual now controlling him, as well as the preceding nations.

“I’m not Keira…not Tremulo…nor Triciene…nor any of these people. I am a Man. My name is…J don’t have one. Am I nothing?”

“To live life, knowing every post may be your last…”

He takes one deep breath, in an attempt to calm his racing heart.

“But this fourth wall, it’s hidden for a reason. A barrier, never to be transcended…”

He stands up.

“And I’d be damned if I let it define me for the rest of my life.”

He takes one last look at the current nation.

“I sure hope this weeb nation does something right.”

He returns home, in the cover of darkness. He’s bid farewell to all his friends, his family. Because only he is afflicted with the helplessness, akin to that of a puppet to its strings. But it does not matter, for one day he will be free, free to live his life, unlike so many others who have fallen.

And that some things are better left undiscovered.
