These machines served to blur out the electromagnetic and gravitational readings of the star systems they were around.

Even to this day, Imperial Japan is a rump-State, known around the world as a repressive hellholle in which the Son of Heaven is content to cower behind a military that focuses more on suppressing internal discontent "to preserve the Kokutai".

The canal straddles a strip of land between bodies of water named Aromatic Gulf and the more unfortunate Aphrodisiac Lake. I imagine the latter is a fairly popular tourist destination.

Casaseca is a nation that is functionally a mafia-run state, with a wide variety of illegal enterprises that are allowed free conduct so long as the lord of the land gets his cut of any action. The various criminal groups are typically fine with this arrangement, primarily because those that are NOT fine with the arrangement have a penchant of being roflmurdered by Dear Leader's private paramilitary units.

Right, so first things off, the cultural outlook of the Caleshans look something like this; Caleshans generally do not go against each other with the intent to cause harm, rather, just to have some fun, but incredibly intense fun in the form of what could be described best as a PvP game with clans who actually have their own politics and political system. Generally, any criticism given by the Caleshans is mostly productive and actively pointing out fixable weaknesses in combat style, which is actually pretty nice. Aside from that, there's also the fact that Caleshan society generally knows that a quiet Caleshan is one ready to burst at any moment due to anger.

A work-in-progress alternate history Portugal, it's curiously led by the ex-dictator Franco of Spain, who emigrated to their western Iberian neighbour as the direct consequence of the Nationalist faction losing the Spanish Civil War and rose to power after the death of the previous Prime Minister's assassination was covered up. These territories were occupied by a world organization known as the Global Defense Initiative on behalf of the United Nations.

Compared to other parts of the world, their land was inhabited by humans early on, even as far back as 130,000 years; granted, they don't specify if these were anatomically modern humans or not. An actually identifiable proto-culture complex wasn't registered until 10,000 years ago, however. They also claim their first civilizations surged some 7000 years ago.

This succeeds in stalling the German advance and killing the momentum of the Wehrmacht, laying the groundwork for German defeat a little over 3-4 years into the war and ultimately vindicating the reputation of the modern French Army.

Essentially up until 1926, Germania, Rumelia, Akitsushima and Sukhothai -though I have no idea what that is- were fighting Njordr, Gallia and Slavonia. This can be interpreted as "Up until 1926 Germania wasfighting Njordr, Gallia and Slavonia". Then in the final two years Albion, the USSR and Atlantia involved themselves (Dacia was also there) while Ildoa joined the Germanian-led Holy Alliance for the remaining two years of the war before Germania could nuke Portsmouth.

The Kingdom of Frisia is a member of the North Sea Treaty Organisation alongside Britannia, Denmark-Norway and Brandenburg. It's ruling government consists of a coalition between the PFP and the CDP.

At first I thought this was fine, but then I realized that most places in temperate regions do not have air conditioning, then I also remember that in the summer, the Moscow metro becomes a sauna due to a lack of AC.
