[Kingdom of Lechia]

Their tribes shouldn't be called tribes, because the each one has over several hundred million citizens, but they are still called like that, anyway.

Also their leader is so old (2370 yo) and is anti-phage.

In the 2020s, there was a civil war in Poland that resulted in the renaming of the country to Lechia. After an attack from Ukraine that ended in Lechia taking over its western regions, Germany became the fascist Fourth Reich and also attacked Lechia in the 2030s, with both sides being guilty of brutality and war crimes. Lechia managed to defend itself in the Baltic Wars of the 2040s (vs Norway and Sweden) and 2050s (US and UK).

The Divine Secretary of Unified Communist Councils, Yan Sooyoung says: "A technocratic archipelagic nation whose historical predecessors bear an uncanny resemblance to the Imperialist Juwanese on Erudia. Their largest city and capital, Hanshai, is a megacity of prodigal proportions a population of over 56 million people. For context, that's bigger than the modern day population and almost as large as Tokyo and Delhi, the two largest cities on Earth, put together. That sounds like nothing less than an urban nightmare.

Their nation has a population of 165 million and they are one of three nuclear powers. The whole world has an economic embargo on them. They are a federal semi-constitutional monarchy run by the kaiserin. They have a tense relationship with the United States and a warm relationship with the Ildoan Kingdom and the Rumelian Sultanate. Also apparently there are mages.

They settled on a landmass that rose from the Atlantic Ocean fairly recently in their timeline, and somehow this landmass had plentiful terrestrial livestock on it. I have the distinct suspicion that a significant amount of this nation is explained with 'DON'T QUESTION IT!'

They are literally mixed (Scandinavian, Mongol, Arab and Native American ancestry).

Their leader has some striking similarities with some 1930s-1940s Austrian dictator with a Charlie Chaplin moustache mainly
1. Awful childhood, though Borzywoj arguably had it worse
2. Likes animals
3. Authoritarian ideology

Though there are some notable differences as well, mainly Borzywoj had to fight into power while the other guy was elected.

Though ignoring the ideology this person is really fit, he's tall and is into multiple sports, he owns multiple weapons and overall sounds like an interesting person to hang out.

Sooooo... It's Sherechia!
Okay, so as is usually my MO, my forte in these kind of threads, I pick out a factbook at complete random (Make sure I don't read one I already have read before) and look through it to find something interesting out. For Sherechia, I have picked out the Economy of Sherechia + Laws of Market Socialism factbook for today's browsing...

Soooo, to lay the scene for what caught my attention the most, let me just quote something:

Most vehicles that would otherwise use regular petrol or diesel use biodiesel or ethanol. Sherechian biofuels are completely sustainable as they don't use finite crude oil in their manufacturing process. The problem, however, is that the quality of these fuels is not that good leading to poor gas mileage, most Sherechian cars have hardy engines, while they aren't efficient or powerful, they can use these low-quality fuels.
This gives high-end luxury, sport and foreign cars problems when entering the Sherechian market as they have to use regular fuel that's often rare and expensive. This however gives local manufacturers a massive advantage. Over 80% of the cars in Sherechia are from local brands. Foreign brands that do enter, especially if they are not a high-end brand must fit their cars with these special engines to have any hope of succeeding in the Sherechian market.

Okay, so this is all from the 'Biofuel' section, the one I found most interest in when reading through, and for multiple reasons. That being:

1: Soooo, I appreciate that Sherechia does not stray from saying that, whilst something most certianly has upsides, there are also going to be problems as well... Nothing's perfect, of course!
For instance, Biofuel for cars in these lands... Sure, it's kinder to the environment and more sustainable for fossil fuels, but realistically... It sucks compared to normal fuels! Like, the mileage is worse, it won't work for normal engines, so as a side product kiss globalization of car brands for Sherechia goodbye, be it foreign companies within, or Sherechian local manufacturers abroad. That's a really interesting dynamic that most would not explore, so good on ya!

2: On a side-note, I have to ask a question... Sooo, I realize Sherechia takes place in a fictional world, yet this fictional world still has to worry and act on Climate Change like OTL is (Or, at least SUPPOSED to!)... Sooooo, how fictional is this fictional world then? Are there many other similarities that I have missed? And what is different (Except Physical Geography, of course) from the world Sherechia is in, compared to Earth?

Okay, that ends my summary on an interesting fact.

So... let's see what I've learnt in... oh, about how the Planetary War? Should be fun, right?

First things first, it was more like OTL WWII in the sense that it was merely multiple (in this case, two) wars spilling over into a bigger, all-encompassing war into what could be considered a UN-supernatural+alien interspecies total war of sorts. The first one would be the so-called Abyssal War, a war between a Warsaw Pact-NATO coalition (the UN) and a bigger multi-pronged invasion force made out of entities considered "the Abyss" (hence, Abyssal War. Amazing.), which, although would be a catastrophic failure for the humans, due to conventional weaponry just not being enough to deal with the more technologically advanced Abyssals. However, thanks to the development of shipgirls (yes, I'm not kidding) and the creation of the UNSPDC, it would become a turnaround, leading to more human victories.

Then, we have the Spatial War, in which a loose coalition of aliens, called the Empire, decided to also invade the Earth, becoming a kind of third side against both the Abyss and the UN. However, unlike the Abyss' invasion of Earth, it wasn't completely out of the blue (as evidenced by the 1958 Iceland incident, in which a UFO crashed on Iceland, causing both the USSR and the US to cover it all up under a false Soviet invasion of the island, IIRC), and, in fact, was actually something that the SPDC was looking towards, in a way. However, the War would also turn out to kind of be the complete opposite to the Abyssal War, seeing as, while there was a series of initial successes for the humans, it would quickly turn into hell, as the UN would now dedicate themselves to throwing everything they had the aliens, something that the PRC would be opposed to, which would lead to them barring access to the SPDC, a fatal mistake, as it would turn out that China would collapse into anarchy as a result of being underdefended against the UFOs.

And these are just the first few paragraphs. Both wars would merge into the Planetary War, the complete and utter shitfest that the SPDC fights in to this very day. What the fuck.

AN: They are a nongovernmental military organization that is fighting a soviet defector named Yuri who has taken over the world with mind control. On September 1st 1984, Yuri sent in stealth tanks to take out the nuclear power plants of the soviet union. Then the Psycorps assassinated Premier Alexander Romanov. Yuri placed his mind control amplifier in Rome to take over Western Europe, in efforts to create what seems to be a hivemind. Then Russia tried to re-ally itself with China but problems were caused with members on both sides were brainwashed by Yuri. So then Russia invaded Chinese territory to take out the traitors. Then Yuri took out the Latin Confederation with fleets consisting of both american and soviet ships. Then Yuri invaded South America and the troops made their way all the way up to southern mexico without resistance, which is where they came across guerilla fighters. They took over the whole of the americas except Alaska, because Yuri didn't feel it was strategically important.

Then the European Alliance sent a Spanish battalion to take over this island that once belonged to the Latin Confederation. They expected large resistance from Epsilon fighters, but surprisingly found that save a few civilians, the island was empty. Then they seized very important angolan ports without resistance.

Then the European Alliance had a major battle with the Epsilon Army at Cape Town South Africa and sent in robot tanks. Then the Epsilon Army surprised attacked them and there were these grey-skinned humanoid beast mutant creatures. And finally a GI bled to death from multiple stab wounds after upsetting a clawed robot by accidentally shooting at it.

It has English and Latin as national languages, a currency called the Pecunia which is worth 3.72 US dollars, uses decimal points and commas in the same manner as in Continental Europe, has its main ethnic groups as Hoosiers and Buckeyes, and much more.

In his time as overseer and eventual dictator of the Chinese American colonies, Zheng He enacted numerous progressive reforms, including the prohibition of infanticide, footbinding, and marital dowries, as well as incentivizing marriage and in some cases forcibly relocating settlers and natives to accelerate the pace of colonial expansion.

While in real life, Prussia's Frederick Wilhelm IV would stall for more time and then help Austria put down the revolutionaries (only to take the cause of unification less than three years later), in this timeline Preuswald's Frederick-Wilhelmus IV quickly accepted this cause. In large part it can be interpreted that this was because Osterland would not have Ruthenia's support putting down Pannonia's uprising in the way IRL Austria did Russia's in Hungary.
