They managed to be isolationist despite their large size, later deciding to go full mongol and start invading people. They worship the Sun and have a proper democracy where the people can kick out a leader easily if they screw up too much.

Any male citizen of Incel Argentina must apply for a license from the Argentine Dating Regulation Agency in order to legally date a woman. In addition, as a result of clearly being viewed as commodities, women are not allowed to vote in Argentine elections.

Hiyoko is a net exporter of food and oil, which it exports mostly to close allies at very high prices that they somehow can afford, and it produces semiconductors, which lets me assume there's a robust agriculture, energy sector, and Hi-Tech manufacturing but little service to speak of. On the other hand, Hiyoko's currency is all-digital, which the state uses to bully anyone who doesn't conform which makes sense, given their entire schtick is "liberty bad, fascism good".

Prior to the beginning of his political career in the Senate, Elfric Carl Milton was enlisted into the Imperial Marine Corps in 1983 as an unemployed 19 year old, and remained there until 2000, when military downsizing resulted in him being discharged. After a spell of further education, his military experience led him to Brigade Schwyz, a Swiss mercenary group, who he served with until 2015, when his aforementioned political career as a senator began.

I learned that United Hollerith is set in 1976. Pretty interesting time period to choose! Globally there was a whole lot going on all over industrialized information economy democracies in the 1960s and 1970s. Not 100% sure how any of it might play into Hollerith, but if it does, that'd be pretty cool. And there's other effects too. It means lots of people in the country will still remember historical events like WWII. I wonder if Hollerith was involved at all? Chief Executive Leigh would have been born during the war after all. Well, I'm just speculating. Looking forward to how being set in 1976 shakes out for Hollerith.

Okay first of all the Great Basin earned its name from John C. Fremont who discovered and explored the region, the name persisted when further pilgrims heading west read their maps... most likely not wanting to put in the work to try and change it to something even if they wanted to, and that's me spit shooting and not canon to the dispatch what so ever.

Secondly, the Great Basin is a Christian Theocracy, although it appears they would like to appear as though it was otherwise, the Church's supported party is the only one reportedly functional. I don't know what that says about any other existing parties but regardless they enjoy majority support.

Thirdly, the Great Basin practices a relatively spicy kind of Christianity declaring all other denominations as being apostate... Not something particularly new when one thinks about it, but at least as far as I understand no goats, buckets or deaths have been reported, at least none related to religion.

An entity named Nothing destroyed the former government of the Conglomerate of Four Un-Kings, graphically brutalizing most of its leadership and consigning most of the system to chaos. Out of the chaos came the Confederacy, centered around the City!^TM. While the Confederacy was fighting the many Conglomerate remnants, one of them sent over a Coke Machine on accident, so now the Confederate military's prime directive is distributing drugs.

AN: The National Assembly of Waisnor, its "representative and legislative body", consists of 130 deputies (this number is set by the Constitution and presumably has nothing to do with how many people each deputy represents) who are all elected for four-year terms at teh same time. Anyone who can vote and is above 21 may be elected to the office.

I learnt through an OSS file that their universe's version of Mozambique or in this case 'Mosambic' is not doing that much better compared to its real life counterpart. With the OSS pretty much stating it is a failed state that is unlikely to stay independent for long given its neighbors don't exactly love them and the people definitely won't risk their lives to fight for a state this horrible. Lol, OTL Mozambique is heaven compared to that hellstate.

Child labor is not only not criminalized in Hintuwan, it might as well be enshrined. This is likely due to corporate influence, a lack of political will, and fear that the informal sector might collapse. In fact, as the Hintuwani economy expands, child labor becomes normalized and the reliance on it increases dramatically. On the other hand, most children employed in the corporations are treated like adult workers and afforded the same rights and privileges (wonder if there's a Child Workers Union in Hintuwan ngl)

The Second World War in the universe of the American Empire is very different from what we hear in reality. Britain, German Reich, Japan, and the American Empire was allied to fight a war against Italy, China, Nationalist France, etc. The war caused the fall of nationalists, as well as the enhanced influence of Russia in Eastern Europe and the rise of America.

The sheer amount of information displayed in Hintuwan's factbook alone, reminds me how severely I need to change my own factbooks, and finally start working on them again. (Wip because of personal life craziness.) -That being said, one thing that especially stood out was the telling of Hintuwani values. I don't really see many people detailing their people's personal values/way of life inside their own, established cultures. That is utterly fascinating, and I especially enjoyed reading about each and every aspect of their values as a whole.

Makes me want to add in a section to describe values to my own factbook, not in the sense of copying, but out of sheer inspiration, it makes me want to add that in, and make a part of my culture way more unique and diversify it as they have.

Brilliant job, Hintuwan, your factbook is amazing beyond words.

Around 5.57% of the population are Muslims, most of them Shia and living in the Panhai archipelago -an oddity which makes me wonder if Shia Islam is the majority in their world's Middle East rather than Sunni Islam as is irl.
