There seem to be a lot of things about the above nation that are interesting contradictions. They are virulently anti technology and yet still highly scientifically competent, immortal and yet with a high birth rate, reverently zealous in their own beliefs and yet anti religious zealotry

Well they seem to farm things in long, vertical tubes and are a ring world. Interesting that they are seen as a city state, I assumed it would've been considered too large for that given it being a stellar body, but I guess since it only has a few thousand people, it makes sense.

Meanwhile, a sovereign Kurdish, Armenian and what looks to be Assyrian states in the Near East, Greece controls Constantinople -but only to the west of Bosphorus- a Yugoslav polity exists that controls Albania but for some reason not Bulgaria. Despite the existence of Russian Kaliningrad, Poland controls its Interwar borders, and Germany holds Pomerania, but not not Silesia, which seems like the person who decided that just wanted to piss off both the Poles and the Germans.

The government of Makko Oko is split into nine general ministries and the Office Of The Emperor. Each of these then has its own agencies under its control. The largest ministry by the number of agencies is the Ministry of Internal Security, whose child agencies have purview over Civil Control, Flights Security, State Religious Control, National Security, Censorship and Intelligence, Nationality and Citizenship, Communications Security, and Digital Security. The oddest is that the Emperor, by this metric, is not the head of state as you might see in a normal monarchy but functionally a statesman with pre-defined duties and responsibilities.

Given they larp the Roman Empire and this is a post-apocalyptic, dystopian setting, it makes perfect sense that Caligula's Legions make a point of burning people alive and putting their remains on the cross, treating women as breeders and homemakers, and employing and expanding the institution of slavery. They claim to be doing this to fight a corrupt and decedant New San Andreas Republic and the many drug lords of the San Andrean(?) Wasteland, but that's likely only a front (as with their Fallout counterpart).
