That they are a Mesoamerican nation with stunning biodiversity and have so far been reliant on agriculture for their economy but seem to be moving into more advanced bio-engineering fields.

They are very technologically advanced and they value improving people's lives a lot which I like and admire. The majority of their population are multiracial and believe in the Amorprana religion, which I would be interested in learning more about. They are also very well educated.

They have a political party called NPPP, which is very socially conservative, but is also socialist, which is based.

They are a galactic federation which has developed very fast in its early years. Everything goes well until a mysterious signal pops up and aliens who are literally called Warmongers show up, spark a galactic war and obliterate earth. Eventually the Warmongers are defeated and a new Earth is constructed and then a species who are literally called the Killmongers show up to start everything over again. At least the Federation is now living in a golden age (until Massacremongers show up perhaps?). They also have an interesting universal language.

Unsurprisingly (given their name), their Factbooks suggest that they are a totalitarian state that is play acting at being a democracy and is rather delusional, with a harsh prison system.

Are you referring to the pseudo-democratic "Kepulungan" system? That was a temporary thing that was disbanded during the colonial era lmao.

The confiscation of the Kesampuhan's feudal possessions and the dismantlement of the Kepulungan system in 1772 led to the royal clans' gradual spiral into obscurity and the Hintuwani archipelago became a commercial holding of the Pordhesian Western Isles Company for 134 years.

For all intents and purposes Hintuwan is a hereditary constitutional monarchy. Yes, sometimes the Lakan may choose one of his children other than the eldest to become heir apparent but this is rare. And in any case that still makes it hereditary because it's still within the family.
