On first glance this seems to literally just be the US, but there are some important distinctions, namely that while it's still a superpower, it's international presence is less pronounced and the fact this timeline lacks both world wars. This America is a lot more subtle than the other Not!Americas and the writing style suggests a quality writer, especially in regards to the Taftine Islands, I wonder who could've come up with such a genius name

Their universe's Cold War was a massive clusterfuck, with Europe being a major "enemy" to the United States as it stayed behind the scenes and watched with horror. Not only that, but Japan managed to establish its CPS. However, surprisingly, despite their sheer isolation, the US managed to pull through and come out on top, without actually fighting major wars. That's a feat in and of itself.

Taking a look at the religion factbook, it seems that one of the Gods in Shurayu mythology is IŠTAR, the God of Love and War. According to Shurayu religion, Ištar is the God behind all forms of romance and love in life, from platonic to genuine. And alongside that, he is also behind fertility, the concept of war, the execution of justice, and the familial bond that guides the Shurayu to their finest goal. Temples of Ištar have devotees, which for a fee, can engage in various acts, including a conversation. That's pretty nice, actually.

EDIT : AN is not really a nation but more of an interplanetary alliance where the complementing entities have a relative high amount of autonomy, it brought the end of the cold war apparently because of the elevated risk of an alien invasion.

It's kinda funny (in a good way) that Pohnei is obviously a parody of Indonesia, plus the fact that you adapted (alternate) Pancasila too as the principles of Pohnei, the 1965-66 communist killings, and Bunarto and Ambanto, which I guess is a parody of Sukarno and Suharto, respectively. It's quite rare to find an Indonesian history-based fictional country here.

They follow a policy of autarchist state capitalism, and then they focus their efforts on the first sector -mining and woodworking make for most of Vonteris exports, though an exception exists in a robust petrol sector which sells both crude and refined oil. To be fair though they're not exactly located in a place where you can have an urban, industrial economy.

AN: The Shurayu military is ever-expanding, as the need for protection, pacification and more importantly violent proselytization only increases the farther the Shurayu expand. Unlike most militaries with a system of operational autonomy, the Shurayu give autonomy not to low-level officers but to the combat element itself, which is trusted in the field and often protected from being tried for war crimes as long as they achieve their objectives.
