Their aristocracy often enjoy a sport called Rópalo, which consists of trying to hit a ball stuffed with feathers into a marked hole. To the chagrin of the aristocrats, it is also enjoyed by many Scottish mercenaries.

Strangely enough, their army personnel can "graduate" into other branches of the military after a minimum two years of service... which sounds like a really stupid thing to do. Training a sailor must be easier than [i]re[i]training a land warfare specialist to forget everything he's learned the last 2 years.

Despite being set in 2021, the world of the Kingdom of Britannia is in some ways much more technologically advanced than reality, possessing widespread commercial fusion power plants (and even cold fusion, which I'm presuming means muon-catalysed fusion) and a manned presence throughout the inner solar system, which is certainly far in advance of extant technological achievements. However many other scientific and technological developments seem to be more on par with the real world, presenting an interesting array of schizotech.

Gonswanza's drone program was started in the 90s and is based upon technology recovered from shot-down Chinese drones. Their drone program initially consisted of a crude guided missile with wings and propellers. Eventually, they moved into surveillance drones. The usage of Chinese technology has greatly advanced the drone program to the point of near-total automation.

Val'Grazia has an nice conlang game going on. It uses word compounding to make new words or proper nouns, an example being the word "Lachtrik", made up of the words "Lacht" and "Rik". Prefixes seem to have an apostrophe (') when attached to a word, as in "Val'Grazia". Patronymics seem to be common in Grazic names, denoted by the conjunction "ze", essentially what would be the suffix "-son" in English, between the first name and the father's name. There also seems to be another conjunction "unz", basically just "of", attached before another word which together would then act as a surname; whether this is commonplace in all names or a nobiliary particle exclusive to aristocrats remains to be seen.

Though given they are an alternate universe it makes sense that things would not occur the same way as ours, their 19th century was, but for a number of small differences, somewhat like ours. For one thing, England sided with Russia during the Crimean War (which, what?), they fought alongside Prussia during the Franco-Prussian War of 1870-71 (where there was, rather than a Napoleon III, a Third French Republic) both of which suggest that England simply did not profess Splendid Isolation or partake in the Great Game), and that France lost the Italian Independence War (which doesn't make sense since they historically fought in support of Piedmont and well, there is an Italy).

Ireland went through a Protestant Reformation in 1526, then was invaded by England in 1529 to establish the Lordship of Ireland to convert them back to Catholicism. England became Protestant in 1545, so the Lordship was turned into a Kingdom in personal union with England.

After the establishment of Great Britain in 1660, it began to integrate Ireland in the 18th century, leading to the Anglo-Irish war of the 1730s, ending with a British victory and the complete merger of the British isles as the Kingdom of Britannia in 1740.

Waisnor was a member-republic of USSR from 1939 until the collapse of the Union, from which point it become an independent state in Eastern Europe. Like many former Soviet states, they expereinced a tumultous few decades following indepedence, seeing a spike in neofascist political movements, but has ultimately remained a liberal democracy.
