I would guess the whole “infantry surviving being nuked” thing. Extremely ridiculous and makes me question why you would bother with vehicles (besides to facilitate transport) at all. And if they have this, what exactly do their enemies have that requires such a thing? The skin of these things is apparently able to withstand the heat, pressure, and radiation of a nuclear weapon without so much as a scratch. However the hell that’s supposed to work.

The AI directing combat operations can and will outthink you, allow its assets to outfight and outmaneuver you, and effortlessly break any linguistic codes or devices being used to communicate through volatile modes that would be prone to interception otherwise. It's not fully machine, so it's not just all hard numbers and data for the thing and it still has the human capacity to improvise rather than operating via raw programming. It's a tool, yes, but it's a tool that when used will demolish the neighbor's shed and leave their tools useless.

It would be easier to say what isn't scary about AN's military, but the thing I fear the most is the "Opperherre-type" sub, mainly for its implications is war, possibly being used to carry WMDs.

A crippling lack of information on their military aside from allusions to a cannon using artillery shells to deploy chemical weapons and possibly nuclear submarines... Who knows what their actual military is like?

They apparently have the technology to produce billions of clones and send them to space but still use uranium for WMDs. Methinks there may be a bit of corruption in the budgeting offices.

I mean I did mention the bureaucratic mismanagement. We could make better explosives if we wanted to but laziness strikes yet again.

Although the information is highly limiting and I don’t exactly understand it, PST weapons. They seem rather needlessly cruel and ineffective due to most soldiers wearing, y’know, ear plugs or ear protection - but still. Needlessly cruel is scary.
