They, for some godforsaken reason, have their service pistol chambered in .50 AE. Factory loads for that caliber have 2400 joules of energy, and it's....not fun to shoot. Handguns chambered in the round are impractical, uncomfortable and expensive.

I'm thus led to believe their soldiers either have superhuman wrists or are able to completely ignore uncomfortable ergonomics of a weapon, and are alien infiltrators.

In a modern war sense....

The mobility and recon capability of the Sabutakan troops would be scary for any opponent looking to outmaneuver and disorganize them, especially since they use motorcycles for recon.

Their significantly HUGE stockpiles of armored vehicles (APCs, IFVs, tanks, etc.) just lying around. It's probably easier to acquire a disabled military IFV in Sabutaka than a car.

Their significantly HUGE stockpiles of fixed-wing transports, helicopters, and gunships. It'd be a logistical nightmare I'm sure, but in any last-ditch effort in defense of their nation would probably result in them winning their territory back if they just unleashed this amount of airpower.

Kugun, their main "air army" has air wings capable of carrying WMDs. They can just carry a tactical nuke into battle without any of their enemies knowing and just win it on-the-spot IF they still manage to hold that patch of land they were supposed to take in the first place.

Then there's the maintenance issue. If they can somehow maintain all of their stockpiled vehicles (which number tens of thousands for one specific class) reliably without any cost issue... then they would have a superior economy aswell.

Oh and they have a huge ass navy (in comparison to ours, since we just have alot of screening ships)... a strong navy with a capability to conduct amphibious invasions... something that we are not capable of (yet).

It's the sheer size of the space fleet that really sells that they aren't to be messed with. With hundreds and sometimes thousands of each asset, the Rio Grande River Basin (better known as the Galactic Federation) has massive amounts of power, unable to be challenged by anything either our real world, or even Scytharum's world, could do to stop it.

That's a freaking lot of active duty personnel compared to the size of their reserve. Kinda strikes me as a predilection towards alpha-strikes.
