Probably their commandos as they seem to be far more disciplined than any of my soldiers.

Do we have ftl?-Yes but for scifi ftl, its fairly slow.
Where about are you scifi wise?-Slightly ahead of the UNSC tech wise (About 75 years ahead of them)
How hard of a scifi is yn?-Fairly hard as I try to keep the nation grounded in reality.
What about the Tantalus device?-That is a xeno artifact that in lore the confederacy has no idea how it works but it does and they want to keep it that way

Halfway through retconning the ft part of the nation to better fit the nation

Well dieselpunk is just scary as hell, the mechs rule the land based warfare and their Airships rule the skies. The only thing that I could do against them is attack them from the sea, but who knows they may have some giant ass fleet.
