What's the scariest thing about the AN's military? Part V

I've already done a lot on the tech of Gonswanza's military, so something else for now.

The frightening combing of 17 million people available for service and a fervent hate for the United States make it much more than just a bigger North Korea. It actually has a pretty modern fighting force, so it can actually fully equip its army(unlike the DPRK)

I imagine the logistics supply lines are the real MVPs of their nation, all this talk of WMDs but little on how they move everything and everyone about. I assume via some sort of super fast ships or teleportation of some kind.

Already seen alot of FT nations, but that worker of theirs is indeed really damn scary. Usually I would go for their spaceships but nope. Their worker. It looks straight up from an alien movie. I mean this same goes with their warriors. They're really scary if you encounter them in battle

Their air force asset listing… we know there’s stuff there, but not what it does. OH the suspense alone is murderously intense!

As a FT nation, New Kowloon Bay has many scary military things. Personally, I'd say that "ICBM bombardment" tactics are the scariest, with the fact that the military has more soldiers than the entire population of the USA coming in a close second.

During war time, conscription is increased to include all adults who are not working in a critical industry and are not in a militia.

Yikes... if things get desperate, you could easily change what is clarified by 'working in a critical industry' to suit the manpower needs. And with that budget as well, a conquest of Asucki would be bloody.

The fact that they are a 'modern' military complete with aircraft and such, but in the thick of things their go-to is to pull out a sword and make with the stabbies. Stupid or not, it's pretty hardcore.

If we consider Rocky and Bullwinkle correct, they have at some point attempted to militarize the sole vehicle that their nation was producing. Also all of their population are spies

The extreme affinity they have for nuking their own country whenever they see one person step foot on their soil.

They not only have access to magic, but it is prevalent enough to have an entire branch of the military dedicated to training magic users for the battlefield.

1: The fact that they have such a good amount of detail on their military
2: Compared with a modern European military (EX: France) it could probably go toe to toe, or even crush them, though that would be hard. Quite the terrifying sight. (A 1v1, I know France is in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, or NATO)

Their military seems to be known for their air force which is an issue because our fighters are designed for space not atmospheric combat.

Instant, non-interceptable communication across pretty much any distance. Unparalleled level of both tactical and strategic flexibility. People really underestimate the more 'mundane' aspects of military in favor of the super flashy stuff, but the hivemind nature of the Ha'Hosh has probably proven more definitive in allowing them to expand as far as they have.

It has to be the war constructs for me. It's rare to see a FanT nation that is also FT, but the fact that it's so well organized and even dedicates themselves to magitech makes them a force to be reckoned with!

The Jewel Spider Fightercraft. Anything with that gaudy a paintjob has got to have something nasty going for it.

If nothing else, the FT factbook is intimidating as hell and very fitting for the nation name at the very least.

The Colossus and it’s planet cracker weaponry would make it force to be reckoned with. Any nation or planet without spaceships capable of fighting in space would stand no chance against it.

The defense islands. Where the Gonswanzan navy has smaller bunker outposts situated on artificial islands, they have a full-on "carrier" with dedicated facilities for aircraft and naval craft, along with actual railguns and missiles. This, paired to missile defense systems, makes them a force to be reckoned with.

Reminder for BN: the radioactive rounds and FG-420 are NOT in service, the former being a failed project. Ignore them, given at this point I'd may as well remove those factbooks everyone and their mother keeps bringing up.

Oh, they too have a Colossus! A lot less intimidating than ours for sure, but for what it is capable at their level of tech, thats certainly a pants browner for sure.

For BN: Try something besides the Colossus, it's too easy a choice.
