Implementing a pirate's tactic, which was considered to be a huge menace back in its Golden Age, in modern times is a damn worrying Aspect of one's military.

For BN, since I've seen a lot of people talking about my Magic Order, please do Sword Order this time.

Not really a scary thing but rather a neat thing, the Ensof-fueled Communication Device, seems like a interesting piece of equipment. This is going be be me guessing but depending on how it’s used and how it’s fuel it allows troops to communicate effortlessly on the battlefield, mostly eliminating the concern of the enemy force hacking their communication equipment or possibly deploying cyber warfare units to disrupt communications if they lack magical abilities. But I suspect they are hardened against magical attacks that are focused on hacking comms.

Advanced uniforms for one, plus the resurgence of swords, enabling them to reach further than with a typical bayonet, though the advantage is questionable at best. Regardless, their standard-issue uniform/attire makes up for seemingly mundane equipment (well, by PMT/FT standards) effectively enabling them to operate almost anywhere, save for the most extreme and outright hostile of environments. Paired to effective, standard weapons, this enables infantry to operate fluidly and adjust quickly to any given situation even in a pinch. Or at least it should, anyways.

The colossus is an major counter to many of the weapons and strategies we utilize, considering our general lack of experience against drones and under-funded Airforce.

More particularly, it’s resistant to many “outdated” radar systems, and considering ours are still mostly from the Cold War, that severely affects us. In addition, it has anti-anti-aircraft devices, making even our best chance far riskier than usual.

I dunno if I’ve mentioned it before, but the offhand mention of ‘mages’ during the military description raised some eyebrows. The Caleshan have no direct counter to magic, though I also notice that there is no other reference to it elsewhere.

Trying some sneaky mages, hrm?

Likely that, when combined, the tribes are self sufficient. As well, tribes are specifically centered over advanced fighting techniques.

The sheer excessive lunacy that is the M-32, given one bomb is enough to cause a mass-extinction level event or get eerily close to causing one.

Clearly, there is an upper limit to thermonuclear weapons, yet, somehow, they surpassed that... Unless it's a pure fusion warhead... But given the relative obscurity behind its function, it can only be assumed that it is indeed a purely fusion-based weapon meant to deliver in comical excess for the sole purpose of vaporizing an entire nation, likely out of spite.

... Also, why does it look like a hellfire TV-guided missile?

Their T-95 tank. Sure all of our anti-tank weapons could easily take care of it, but the vast majority of our anti-tank equipment is in storage, including our tanks and artillery. For the first few encounters with the tank, our troops would have to improvise.

I'd say the spinal lasers tbh. Sure, I'd imagine it'd be hard to line up a good shot at times (given that you have to maneuver the ship to change it's trajectory), but if they do line up a shot...well, whatever they're aiming at is definitely getting put into past tense.

The fact that they have multi-kilometer spacecraft with multiple cannons capable of striking with hundreds of gigatons of destructive potential, on a budget of 30-something trillion.

In spite of their size and the excessive burden upon them, their military is also rather efficient, even if they are sorely lacking in what some may consider "major" hardware (carriers, notably). Regardless, they make do with what they have, while also relying on veteran or mostly veteran infantry with experience in other warzones to carry on the fight, wherever it may be.

Dem drones is spiffy! The Caleshan have autonomous mechanoids and smaller drones for recon and the occasional airstrike, but Gonswanza's are much more comprehensive and robust in nature. Yeek.

Wyvern Battle-Carriers, not much info about what it is exactly, but the first thing that comes to mind is the Battlestars from the Battlestar Galactia. So a lot of armor, firepower and hurt in one massive ship.

Their advanced military tech is still something to be feared, especially with their ability to conduct orbital strikes at will.
