4/10 — It's different but too dark. Were it fluttering, it would be hard to make out anything but the black field.

I'm never in favour of text on flags - if there is no symbolism to say what you want to express, put it in your constitution.

As for the ripple effect, I prefer flags without it.

Please consider removing the white band with text, and the ripple. You'd be left with a red flag,a white star, and a black hammer and sickle. A little less is a lot more - the simplicity will make much more of a statement than the current version of the flag.

For example, look at my flag. Stylished version of Hammurabi's law stela, white blackground, two red triangles (representing the two sides of Mesopotamia). What more would I need?

Current version of AN's flag: 5/10

1/10 — I’m not sure it’s actually a flag but if it is, it needs major overhaul to be clearer and, more importantly, in frame (as it’s cut off at the bottom).

8/10. Sure, it's not a unique little snowflake, but it doesn't have to be. It's flag-like (which is a surprisingly rare thing), has nice, bright, but not sickeningly saturated colors, and a pretty distinct look in general. Sure, it technically breaks the rule of tinctures, but that's fine, it looks good regardless.

7/10. Nice design overall. Reminds me of the Don Republic.

And although it is nice and very simple, I'm saying a 7/10 because it's not a flag that sort of screams at you, if that makes sense. Simplicity done well, but still simple enough that it's not incredibly remarkable. Hopefully that isn't insulting.

10/10.

Flag is simple, with a famous fleur-de-lis symbol featuring clearly and prominently in the middle. Colors are unique, distinctive, and contrast well with one another. Overall, it’s a fabulous design.

Surprisingly pretty good for a take on the aesthetically flawed Gadsden flag. The green provides an excellent contrast choice for the yellow, which are meaningful colours in their own rights. The proportions are balanced nicely, and the complexity of the snake doesn’t take away from compositional beauty of everything else. I like it. I’d keep experimenting and tweaking things to your liking as you go along because as it stands right now, there’s not much improvement needed. 9.5/10

I like this flag because first of all, it is original, I have never seen a flag with a stripes pattern mixed with the chess like pattern; and also because I like the lion on the center of the flag, as it adds personality and complexity.
Despite this, I would change a bit the colors to a darker red and darker blue to give it a bit of more realism and less digital looking.
Still, very good flag! 7/10 with these colors and 8/10 if they were slightly improved.

The upper and lower section of the flag, their colours complement very well with the dark green. The saint symbol stands out a lot in the green. It gives off the sense of elegance, beauty, perfection and neatness. Oh and the white stripes too, the colours don't clash together making it a mess. 10/10

Scrontch flag designer flag, which is bad. The flag seems dark and evil with too much black without any contrast, but that might be the evil style you are going for. For me, 3/10.

8/10. The multiple colors are not usually something I am a fan of, but the pride flag is supposed to stand out in a crowd, and because of this, I think it is ok for it to have multiple colors. This design is not exactly new, but it clearly displays your inspiration for the flag and your nation’s values, so I will give you an 8/10.

9.3/10 a flag that combines interesting and good looks. I like how you used a bar that goes sideways instead of a horizontal or vertical bar and the flower on top also helps distinguish it from other flags, The choice of color is also interesting with shades of yellow and purple. This is also a good flag in practice, I never mistook you for another nation.

8/10

The flag has unique, yet simple design of incorporating its traditional alphabet into the flag in a clever way, plus the alphabets looks big enough to be distinguishable. Really love the symbolism behind the flag. The proportions also helps with the distinction somehow.

Lose the ripple.

The triangle should be in a different place, or just go, as now it creates the impression of a white short under a burgundy jacket.

Not sure what the globular object represents, but at present it seems like a Christmas bauble hanging from the collar.

4/10

Suggestion: simplify.
Just a plain burgundy flag, with the "bauble" in either black or white, would make a much stronger statement.
