How the f*** are the above snide remarks "constructive"?

Do you have a suggestion on how to improve these spears?
If not, don't rate.

Not the most constructive criticism perhaps but it gave you something to think about didn't it?

The multi coloured spears do kind of look like Christmas lights, I don't think it's snide to point that out. If you'll allow me to give you my thoughts, I think you can find a way of having the colours and depict a spear/spears simultaneously but seperately, just might take a bit of experimenting.

Quite interesting. The design is pretty basic, but the colour combinations make it unique, especially the red upper and bottom lines in combination with the red lining of the yellow triangle. I must say, these colours and the star are very basic for Socialist countries, but you made your flag look memorable. I'd say 9.2/10

9.5/10 - Great design, not sure about the blue stripe though.

Based on vexillology, your central piece is too complex, but it is very interesting and has character.

I'd change the middle piece to a burgundy if I were you.

Shit, got ninja'd. I'd switch the blue and white around to experiment, but there's really nothing wrong with this flag.

10/10 I really love your flag. I am not entirely sold on the solid black, maybe a dark blue would be better, possibly with a white or darker yellow phoenix? However, I love the design it is very unique, it is definitely a keeper.

It is a beautifully intricate flag. Very detailed, but if that is your thing: go for it!

Colours are well chosen for it too, and its fits the name / theme of your nation.

I think I liked the previous version of your flag a little better though (the one with that serpertine dragon?).
Would you think you can create a flag with that dragon and some elements from this throne, or would that ruin the theme / mytholgy from which you work?

8.5/10

Thank you :). The Dragon with two cranes. If I am honest I dont think I would go back to that flag and combine it with this throne because it took me ages to redesign this flag haha. Your flag is a 6/10 - Now, I like your flag, the thing is though, I would probably change up the colours and remove the circle from the bear. Otherwise the design is great :).

AAN: 8,5/10 I don't see a flag like this very often. The only thing that I would change, would be to increase the contrast of the two red colors.

AN: 8/10 it clearly gives the impression of a South East Asian nation. The symbol is very complicated and could have been simplified a bit, but I like everything else about the flag.

It's kind of... average? I like the idea of the cross and the reef, it looks nice, but it's two background feature with no symbol to complement. 6/10

4/10. It's a good design in concept, but it looks awkwardly stretched vertically. The colors are good. I just think you ought to make the maple leaf narrower.

Very unique and highly appealing. I love the colour scheme that you have chosen for the flag, all of the colours fit well together and complement one another beautifully. The design pattern is also unique and distinguishes the flag from other designs, which is a great plus. The symbolism is simple, yet expressive, and I like that.

9/10, a very well-made flag!

The flag is not too complex, nor is it plain. The colours go together rather nicely (Though I'm not a really fan of the gold/white combination, it's not that bad). The tree and olive branches stand out, along with the colour scheme, you can easily tell it apart from other nations' flags.

The overall design is great. 8/10!

Vereichyle (because they didn't really get constructive rating): The flag works well for a socialist nation, but in my opinion the emblem is a bit too complex and the colours basic (but that isn't really a problem). The general design of the flag is very nice though if the emblem was a bit simpler, it would look better in my opinion. Overall I'd say the flag looks good, 7.2/10

Kingdom of Deutchland: The flag looks ok, 4.8/10. The colours are nice and the design is basic, but please remove the outline of the branches, it makes your flag look worse. In my opinion the branches are also a bit to big.

BN is just angry because I didn't like their flag, lol

I think AHtA's flag is one of the best. Color scheme is nice, purple and yellow go together quite well. The symbol on the right looks simple but still detailed enough to look nice as well. The lavender stripe looks a tiny bit weird being there, but overall that flag gets a 9.7/10 from me

ninja'd (i think?), AN: eh, flag doesn't look all that great. the top left bit looks...unappealing. the symbol on the right also don't look that nice, specially the colors. 4/10

I really like Frokolia's current flag. Unlike many other flags with eagles on them, this flag looks like it could belong to a modern country as well. The eagle is mostly easy to draw, yet looks very majestic and is easily recognizable which is rare for flags like these. The colours go great together as well, overall 9.4/10 from me.
