8/10. It has good colors and everything about it is pretty great, but it doesn’t feel like a flag really. Put the cat in some design maybe, like in a circle design of some kind. But it looks good like it is as well.

[Bosardia]

I like that it breaks with the traditional width that flags have, like Switzerland does as well. It has a very clean, elegant and aesthetically pleasing design. The colours are well chosen, they create clear but meaningful contrast, and the symbolism is aptly chosen. I have no negative remarks about this flag, so 9/10!

I want to reserve the 10/10 for flags that truly blast me away. So, 9/10 is still a perfect score, but it's not the best flag that has ever existed on NationStates. Hopefully that makes sense?

As to the tree, the nation's theme is deeply tied in with forests and trees. The name Bosardia consists of the word 'bos' which means 'forest' in Dutch, and 'ardia' which comes from German 'Erde' and Dutch 'aarde' which both mean 'earth/soil'. So, the name Bosardia means 'forest soil/earth', which can loosely be understood as 'forest land'. Hopefully that explanation makes it clearer why this nation's primary symbol is a tree, and why it should fit in nicely

3/10. Honestly, I don't really have anything positive to say about this flag, but you don't get lower scores because at least I can look at it without wanting to die. The colors are not good together. Minty blue is already a very hard color to nail on a flag, and it does not pair well with black at all. The differing thicknesses of the lines is jarring, primarily because of the amount of difference between said lines. The symbol in the center itself is alright, but it just doesnt strike me as terribly flag like. And the letters at the bottom remind me more of the cover of a classified document than a banner. I think it needs a lot of work.

7/10 - I'd say it's a pretty good start for a great flag, but the four-pointed star in the center is a rather basic and simplistic thing to place in the middle. Maybe come up with some much more profound symbol to place in the middle there (just don't go too overboard) and I'd say this could be a 10/10. The colors I actually really like, and the main design is pretty good for what you're trying to go for, it just needs something to make the center better.

5/10. Honestly, it's so-so. Hot pink doesn't mic well with cream, and cream doesnt mix well with baby blue. The tree is much to complicated in my opinion, and none of the shapes go together. It just doesnt have a theme, none of it slots together. It's less that it does anything wrong, and more that, well, it doesnt do anything at all.

For AN: 6/10. The design is too simple for me to comment on, the only real issue is that the green doesnt mesh well with the blue. Not bad at all, but, well, it's a bit too simple for my tastes.
