Actually, yes, we had two.

1 - Pedro Calazans (1943 - 1970) was a very successful pop musician who started his career in infancy at the age of 6. He was recognized as a minor musical prodigy and that he would have a hugely successful career. He started in children's music, naturally, then recorded some religious songs, but it was at 16 that he started to break out on the radio with his original pop and pop-rock songs, however, after turning 18 he began to have problems with alcohol and even drugs, after he was arrested with possession of marijuana and cocaine. After 25, Pedro already seemed to be much older than he was, destroyed by his unruly youth, it seemed to be too late to turn back, but as soon as he celebrated his 26th birthday, he announced that he was going back to rehab and started recording songs about the damage that alcohol and drugs had done to him. A year later he was released from rehab, but with the death of his mother in a tragic car accident, Calazans once again indulged himself in the very same substances that he had overcome, again. Three months later, he died of a cocaine overdose.

2 - John Jerome Johnson (1960 - 1987) also known as "JayJay Johnson" or simply "Triple J". Triple J wasn't exactly a big hit as a kid, but he became quite famous for his versatility and adaptability. He started at 15 in pop and pop-rock music (he was a HUGE fan of Pedro Calazans) but quickly found himself attracted to heavy metal where he was most successful with his main band; Steel Sovereigns. However, remember the versatility we mentioned earlier? Yeah, he also ended up releasing several rap and hip-hop songs, all before the age of 20. JJJ never had problems with how much he drank and never got involved with drugs, he was in impeccable health and his biggest problems with the police were his aggressiveness in protests, s he being a young militant very engaged in social policies and women's and black people's causes, political scientists even speculate that JayJay could have become an important politician if he had passed the age of 27. His death, in fact, came as a big surprise and one that still divides opinions in Merulla. Upon turning 27, JJJ released a new album called "JJJistory - A Musical Autobiography"., this album brought together classic and new songs from all his endeavors, pop, pop-rock, heavy metal, hip-hop and rap music, as well as two very interesting new tracks. One was "Dawn of the Eternal Morning" which he recorded with his old heavy metal band with a heavy beat but where only he sang and the whole song was sung in hip-hop style and "End Times Prison" that he revealed one more quality, an impeccable lyrical singing very similar to church chants, where he would quickly switch to rap. Three months after the resounding success of that album, Johnson killed himself one morning and left a letter saying he wanted "to go down in history like Pedro Calazans at 27". Some believe that JJJ was deeply depressed and just used this as an excuse and others believe, given his eccentric nature, that he actually killed himself over such futility. Despite what anyone chooses to believe, Triple J was far more successful posthumously than he was alive.

Honorable mention, but kinda dark? We have a very famous pop and pop-rock singer currently, she is 25 years old and is already in her 6th rehab... I won't go into too much detail, out of respect for her, but she needs to take care of herself, if she doesn't want to join the 27 club.

Yes and No. The question is too vague to answer affirmatively. The Internet is free (free as in freedom), but it is not wild (wild as in lawless or savage). There is no restriction to the free exercise of expressing one's conscience, exercising the freedom of speech, press, religion, peaceable assembly, petition the Government, receiving in a timely fashion a redress from government for grievances, etc. There are restrictions regarding the use of force and fraud through the Internet.

The Internet developed differently in this Alternate Reality. Everyone's device is their own server with their own full shell accounts, such that every person is their own decentralized social media platform. Everyone has their own node (if they are on the Internet) from which they engage others.

Freedom of Speech.
The Free People of the Commonwealth of Narland hate censuring and censorship. It is seen as "Unnarlandish" to deny anyone their forensic obligation to speak in the public forum unless there is a good reason. Not allowing someone their say especially when it is unpopular is considered barbaric. Everyone is allowed a say to explain themselves. It is a high crime for public servants to abridge any person's attempt to communicate when done so peaceably.

Protected Speech.
Internet usage is a form of freedom of expression. Everyone is held accountable for their actions. Inciting others to commit specific criminal acts, or conspiring to commit force or fraud against others is not protected speech. Engaging in activity that hampers the free flow of intelligence across the Internet is also illegal.

Censured only through Due Process.
Censuring is a reprimand of public rebuke and punitive fine issued by a Judicial Officer. A party must be duly convicted of a tort, misdemeanor, high crime, or felony in order to be censured. The Arbiter, Judge, or Justicar may issue a Writ of Censure only upon conviction. A person's website can only be censured if it is the vehicle for the offense. The conviction will be posted in a journal of public record, the public forum of the person's residence, and upon the opening page of the offending website. Once the peace is restored, the offended party placated, or justice has been met, the URL must be immediately returned to the person regardless of ability to pay the fine.

Minors must get permission from their parents for Internet activity.
