"Apart from a dysfunctional monarch, his grieving family and a completely useless parliament, Western Fardelshufflestein seems to be functional enough as a state of its size -- too small for large-scale trouble to happen. All their military can muster up is flamethrowers anyway. I doubt they have more."

"I wonder if this is what my home could have become, given time. Ill-natured dwelling-on-the-past aside, I find it all a little too stifling. Yes, I've had my share of bureaucratic intrigue. Doesn't mean I'm a great fan of it - they could do to loosen up a little. Of course, then the whole thing could come tumbling down; arguably more fun that way. Ah well, 'least their aesthetic works out. From a purely atmospheric standpoint, I dig it. And it makes for some interesting stories."

"I do not have the wealth to hire you or the strength to challenge you, but... you lot seem to me to be of a kinder sort than the rest of your kind. At least your words are sweet. But to kill is to rule most absolutely on the worth of another, and I do not trust those who would weigh that worth absolutely with the wealth of a... buyer. An unscrupulous killer is a dangerous one; this I know all too well. I would hope that you would find our foes too detestable to ever throw in with, but I doubt I could trust your roving band to even do that, were you to be moved significantly enough. So, then, while we meet with kindness know I view you all as... not honorable, but not... offensive, either. Like blade with a loose hand on its hilt. It is neither good nor evil, but it is undeniably dangerous. I feel were I to deal with you for long I would feel that blade's teeth.

"The nation of Baizou. Now, my opinion of them can be divided into two parts: Their government and their country, as the two seem to be somewhat separate.

The Government of Baizou is, unfortunately, something I cannot respect. Social Democracies and other such ideologies only treat symptoms of their perceived 'issues' rather than digging at the root causes. Similarly, its form of republicanism lies too in-between for me. A government for the people should be for the people's liberty through the masses or the people's welfare through a strong fatherly leader. I do unfortunately see Baizou's current government has squirming around in the center when they should be striving for either or.

However, the nation of Baizou itself is quite decent. From my understanding, they appear to follow a form of culture not too dissimilar to that of the Japanese. In fact, their particular 'sect' -if you will- is leagues above the cartoonishly militaristic, authoritarian, or capitalistic nations I have seen. It's still unique from its motherland though. In fact, I find a kind of beauty in their magic*. Rather than using their magic to destroy their world and their enemies, or rejecting it altogether, they have found a balance between not blowing up everything and not returning to the caves of their primitive tribal ancestors. It's kind of charming in that sense.

"I found the history lecture on Isauria particularly interesting. Their nation did very well in surviving as long as it did, and from what we do know they were one of the most civilized nations of their time. And their language... So unique and yet connected to so many others, it taught us a great deal and without Isauria's written records we wouldn't know nearly as much as we do about those people who are the ancestors of almost everyone from Ireland to Udaypoyske. - Lellin Nimagyeo

"You know, as a child, stories about magical worlds, full with unnatural beauty and great evil was one of my favorite genres. A good fantasy book allows your mind to drift, to imagine a world that would seem impossible, at least with what Earth has to offer.

This is why, though I may not show this with a simple message, I am giddy with excitement about the notion of your nation, and your world. It's like it was completely ripped out of the pages of books I read often, even today. Though such world may seem mundane for the people living on it, it fills me with wonder and awe, knowing that such a world exists. I wonder if you view Earth in the same way?..

Humanity may never reach the planet of which you call home, but I must notify the international community of my discovery today. We've been looking for Extraterrestrial sentient life for a long time, and now we know that, not only is it out there, but that it made communication with earth in perhaps one of the most mundane ways possible..."

"The religionist in me cannot help but be slightly dismayed by what I gather is a rather significant decline in spirituality in Zitravgrad. Of course, to each their own, as is said in Zitravgrad. But I cannot help that it is my opinion that Zitravgradians need not scoff quite so much at the 'sixth sense'—one can disbelieve in the divine and in superstition yet still experience emotional, even spiritual, resonance.

"But enough of my quibbles; I wouldn't have you think I disapprove of Zitravgrad on the basis of a singular disagreement, especially on a matter so personal. So now I ask that you indulge me in talking about what I have enjoyed learning about Zitravgrad's culture. The pseudo-vintage aesthetic is unique and rather fun, I must admit; that may be the historian in me speaking. While I would not condone hedonism or life-threatening forays into the nuclear wasteland, it is also gratifying to see that marital freedom also rose in that same era. What an unusual period; a time of troubles and retrenchments, yet also a time of certain progressions as well.

"Zitravgradian cultural production is quite enjoyable as well. Princess Zinaida's Rose is a beautiful flower, and a good choice for a national symbol. And may I say that I could go for a Pampushky right now? That garlic butter looks delicious."

Their nature as a Dictatorial state makes them rather repugnant, but their minimal population and economic focus both on hegemonic domination and militaristic growth makes them somewhat unlikely to pose any real danger to Rulzen population centers. With what we can only assume is a supressed population, and an unstable military heirarchical nature, we can only assume that with a little help, the population of this nation could be convinced to rise up against their masters.

Overall, a horrifically supressive nature of governance, a political focus entirely based off of the subjigation of their own race, and a generally ineffective worldview. We certainly do not approve."

"The Near Islands are an interesting bunch, a Maritime Nation with a Presidential Republican Government. But they seem to struggle in their Governance, being accused in corruption and majority favouritism..a Flawed Democratic Government if one were to say..but i can hope that they would be able to fix those issues as soon as possible. And if their government fails, we would gladly welcome them in and instate an integrated Democratic Colonial Commonwealth with Parliaments to represent their population and ethnicities.." - Charles Von Roland, Grand Emperor of the United Imperium.
